I love les Paul’s, I like slash, I love honey burst, but I don’t care for the 3 piece top thing. I’d rather have a 58 CS plain top on lemon or honey burst. Or even just a standard in honey. But it’s a cool guitar 🎸👍🏼
I just ordered this guitar tonight, I actually like the fact that its a 3 piece top without the nibs, at least its different and it sounds great. You did a great job playing it and showing what it can do.
I bought a Jessica and immediatly upgraded the pickups to the Slash 2.0s, did some fretwork, and changed to the blank truss rod cover, lol. Great minds..
Lol ANOTHER slash sig. They should just say every les Paul from here on out is a slash sig. Gibson is riding that train till the wheels fall all the way off..but..I do like this one...
I love Slash and own the Appetite but to remake a guitar that Gibson couldn't sell because it was a factory second but now charge a premium for seems like a cash grab. Ymmv.
Is it that much better? Im no expert, but my Epi is killer. I did hear you say you don't care for the Custombucker's. I havent even begun to wring all the tones out of mine.

Don't like rosewood, no trap inlays, no chucky necks! Just add no single cut, no humbuckers, . Enjoyed the review though. LPs arent for everyone that is for sure. I personally love them. Peace
