One Notice for people that are dumb like me: u have to deactivate the Souls of Azeos and Ra-Akar as this 2 passive skills destroy fences and so on ... now its working fine, thanks for the video
So glad I been collecting the Figurines.. I was planning on using them for decoration to note what enemies spawn in which mob spawner room.. I was using large fields of flooring (Stone Moss, Clay Moss, Orange Ground Slime, Purple Ground Slime, etc.) and was just waiting for them to populate before I go in and slaughter them for drops and exp..
you don't even need Materializers. Hive Mother endlessly spawns enemies. dig a trench around her, outside her attack range but close enough to aggro the enemies (the ideal radius is 15 blocks from the center of her summoning circle.). shoot the mother till she's about 1/2 hp so she enrages, and viola, infinite mobs to farm for XP that cannot reach you. you can even add conveyors to the setup so you can circle her while AFK (necessary cuz mobs on the other side of the circle are too far to aggro onto you).
got some ppl in the comments who don't know what they're talking about. certain old farm designs no longer work, yeah, but if you fully encircle her and actually run around (or use conveyors to keep moving) you still get tons of enemies. I was literally showing off how you can completely AFK level Embertails and Fanhares in the Discord *yesterday.*
I followed 2ZPoint's hive mother skill farm and it still works. It's just a bit weird now. When you're on the platform you're supposed to stand on, you need to be on the left side of that platform. If you go to the right side (towards the hive mother) she drops aggro. Aggro also drops when mobs don't get hit for long enough
For me the best way to lvl up mele combat is using the best laser, the one you get in the last area with the wall boss and use it to kill the last boss balls, you will see the lvls rise sooooo fast.
Use mobs that don't have ranged attacks, then rather than fences everywhere, just dig pits that way you don't have to worry about anything getting destroyed and releasing monsters everywhere. Love this layout though...will try this later.
Tough balance to strike in development with tooltips vs 'spoilers' for future content- not sure what the answer is, but I do think their item descriptions can be a little vague at times
@@kimberly4275 really? I'll check if there was a patch or something Edit: still works! Just know that you get a "skill point" every 5 levels. So you might be gaining ranged xp but you'll only have points to spend every 5 levels.
Super solid explination, after doing half a dozen of those challenge rooms I had no Idea the spawners could be picked up or used x) good thing to note if you don't have any pets to level up the new tardigrade pet gives a 15% chance to recover mana on your hits, I'm not sure if this applies to your summons too but it might allow you to afk with an autocklicker using the deep tome every few seconds Edit, tried it and saddly doesn't work
@@katarina2373 u can select which character you want to use whenever you're joining a world. So u can make a new one or pick one you already have, keeps their skill points and all the items on them too
@@marchfifth1754 it does look like that doesn't it haha. The wires connecting to the switch are actually underneath the floor tiles. Any floor tile (as far as I know) will automatically be above the wire layers.
@@Fisherman1267 the farmer enemy can break basic stuff like weak walls and fences. It might be best not to use them if you're not able to kill them quick enough. Slimes are your best friend for sure
Well... interesting but... useless... because... why the hell i need level my skills while i'm already in the very late game (as of we need late game Items for this)?! 🤷♂ What about: How to "level skills fast at the beginning of the Game" ?
Try trapping one of those big mushrooms that turn to stone on a 1 block island by digging the floor away. Then stand on the diagonal and smack it when it can't move. It takes 1 damage per hit and heals when you stop hitting it. Just avoid fire since that kills it through it's stoneskin.
About 3 months ago I added a 2.1 speaker setup to my PC. I feel like I ought to mention that in that time I've never been prompted to adjust my subwoofer volume until this video. You might consider adjusting your mic audio balance. It's very off-putting.
I rewatched the video to try and understand what you might be referring to but I see no issues? I've also recieved comments regarding my voice being "pleasant" rather than off-putting so there's a chance it might be on your end, unfortunately.
@@ajilitypoints Did you re-watch the video with external speakers with subwoofer? I'm telling you regardless of whether or not you 'saw' the issue, one exists. You're pushing way too much low-end on your voice track. It may not affect many people, but it does affect me. I happen to be rather particular about audio. Do something about it or don't - I was just letting you know.
@@ajilitypoints Came across another video when I had headphones on, and it sounds fine. Check your 90-160 Hz levels. Again - I watch many content creators and none of them vibrate my desk when I have my 2.1 speakers on.
@@keijo4359 you could also set up an arena of your own to make your own type of challenge room for you or friends with a chest at the end. Great for community servers. Or just to test your dps
So what is the difference its the same boredom? You go out for hours looking for mobs to grind or use spawners which game provides and is intended to alleviate the mob grind at end game. I can see if you just started or are in mid game and find this to be cheesy but its efficient. That is why the spawners are added. Your welcomed.

Did you play 1.0 at all she stop spawning and reset in 10 seconds.
This doesn't work and hasn't for at least a year.

Can confirm this still works. She's a 5x5 + 12 tiles + 1 tile trench. I made a 31x31 circle with conveyors behind the trench

I can't build my fences the same way as you have here. it doesnt leave that little space thru the middle it connects all the fences together.

Havent tested it but these could be useful for mob farms i was able to put a mold tentacle in it and it spawned them in
