We have the same measuring cups! Stainless steel and I think I bought them at “Bed Bath, and Beyond”? Love ur kitchen set! Do u ever add coffee to ur chocolate recipes? I see some add a couple teaspoons of instant espresso or instant coffee? I’ve had cakes and brownies etc with it and I think it leaves a somewhat bitter after-taste...suggestions? Opinion?

Yes you are correct a Bundt pan does have a hole in the middle. These smaller ones don't have the hole but still have the shape . If it had a hole in the middle there would be less cake. You can make a large bundt cake with this recipe, just adjust the baking time. The cut off parts can be for the chef to taste or you can use them for other desserts. In a bakery or restaurant, these could be use for trifle, crumbling and toasting or adding to recipes where bread crumbs are needed.

I used ur hack of keeping them in the pan for 30 min it worked like a charm. No more broken cakes thanks.

It all comes down to personal preference. Some people really enjoy that bitter taste with chocolate, some don't.

Can u use self rising flour instead of all purpose flour? We use the self rising flour in all of our baking and cooking.
Yes, but remember, if using self raising flour in recipes, you can skip the baking powder or baking soda.
