I have followed MLB for over 20 years as an Aussie, living in Sydney. Each year i learn more an more about the game as my fantasy sides grew from 1 team per year to 8 at a minimum. To be able to pick Travis as my starting 2nd baseman, having heard how he speaks, the person he is, how he represents Australia on the world stage and his obvious ability, has taken my love of the game to an amazing new level. Congratulations to this young man, you deserve every accolade headed your way.
Just saw an article on ESPN. Didn't realize that Australia had a baseball program. At first, I thought he went from a cricket player to college baseball somehow, lol.
Looks like he was a phenomenal high school cricket player leading his team to it's first ever state championship, alongside playing professionally in the Australian Baseball League in the offseason I presume.
Mate I played BB at high school here in Australia in the 70s, no joke its what we did if we were not good enough for cricket! 😊 Dont forget Dave Neilson, the Brewers catcher came from down here to. We have a population that is less than California, so you guys are going to have thousands of players, hopefull of going to MLB, we have had about 15 guys ever, to make it, so when an Aussie gets picked up like this, it is a seriously big deal. But it hardly rated a mention on TV here. Cheers Bud !
I'd prefer Condon because I'd like for this organization to finally have a bonafide power righty to have in the lineup every day, and also a guy you can count on in the outfield besides Kwan. But Bazzana is a great player
As an Aussie MLB fan this is exciting as! Rooting for this kid
Hopefully his talent received more attention and recognition in his home country. This guy is a great talent with hardwork to match.
Most of us baseball fans down under know his story and follow him but he does not get enough air time hopefully when he gets drafted that will change.

Lifelong Cleveland Guardians fan here. As fans we are extremely happy he’s with this team now. He looks like the real deal.
So happy he’s in the Guardians’ system now! Get him to Lake County for a few minutes and then get him to Akron so I can watch him this year!
I'm catching him in Lake Erie on his first day. Cheapest ticket you'll be able to buy for a glimpse at this talent
This kid is awesome. Even his name is cool...Bazzana!
Can't wait to see you in the show at Progressive Field.
Welcome to guardians brother

Wow, just wow
Go Beavs! So sad that they didn't make it farther into the tourney. Kid has all the tools. He'll be the best offensive 2nd baseman in the league.
gee ... that last minute was emotional ..... onya Trav
I love to hear his Australian accent come and go. LOL
You can definitely hear how living in the US softened it, especially when the interviewer has a strong accent
Cincinnati Reds🎉
I want the Indians to take him number 1 over all.
Would be fun to see him and Kwan together. Go Beavs
no such team

If not, the Reds will take him at number 2.
@Whaddayamean13 Condon would definitely be okay in my book as well.
