On of my friends went for seven days and it was raining there for four days continuously so they have bring back their goats to the lower areas some newborn died they have carry them on their back. He was literally crying. And he was not some weak guy he played sgfi in kabbadi and today ha joined indian army. So in short life is hard but because they are pahadi and always live in pahads so they know how to enjoy and face challenges.

They are from Jakhol, Uttarakhand. I am myself from Mori which is very close to Jakhol. We all are Garhwali but our linguistics are quite similar to himachal so himachali people might confuse by that.

Εμείς ψήναμε κρέας κατ' ευθείαν πάνω στα κάρβουνα σε άμεση επαφή. Ένα λαγό που έπιασαν τα σκυλιά τον μαγειρέψαμε με φασόλια. Δεν είχαμε κάτι άλλο. Θυμάμαι ήταν το πιο νόστιμο φαγητό της ζωής μου.
These Shephard are from har ki Doon Valley, Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand, and they moving mori to massouri according to their vacation session.. These Shephard typically related from upper shimla region according to their language, attire and rituals
I think there is a confusion whether they are from hp or uk. As in the description too it is mentioned that they are from Jakhol village. Jakhol comes in rawain valley in Uttarakashi district of Uttarakhand. The people of this village are called parbatiya and their dialect is also called parbatiya I believe , which according to language classifiaction is dialect of garhwali but a little distant in nature. There is also a famous temple of Someshwar in Jakhol a deity which is revered in upper garhwal. The confusion occurs usually because of green round cap which is usually known as hp cap but the same cap is also worn in some areas of garhwal and jaunsar in uk. This cap in hp is called as BUSHAHARI topi(correct me if I am wrong) but in garhwal(rawain) region it is called as SARKOLI.
