Прочитайте про этих "свободных" людей. Непал кастовое государство, как Индия. Я не думаю, что пастухи относятся к высшей касте. Они самые бесправные, похоже. И эта убогость и неряшливость, думаю, от нищеты и безысходности. Это тоже накладывает отпечаток на быт, тем более ни они, ни их родители не жили по другому.

Indeed a hard life. Sheep and goats, one has to live with them 24/7 . If you leave them alone, coyotes, foxes, mountain lions, wolves and other animals can kill your animals so, you eat, sleep, wake up and eat with them...

More than 100 sheeps are migrating from one place to another is not a joke .This animal is following their command and moving without water and grass in this barren land . Hat's off to their determination and facing tough life . May God be with them all the time in calamities .
Sometime they are attached by a pack of wolves or even a snow leopard.

Beautiful nature, thank you for taking care good care of them even though they will eventually be kill anyways for food. But I hope and pray that if they get slaughter that they will not suffer too much pain and die a quiet way. Thank you and I love all animals.
I also respect the fact that the old man and others carry their own heavy bags and backpack. Unlike others where they usually have their animals carried for them taking advantage and abusing animals. Their dog is very respectful too, it doesn’t chase and bully the sheeps around thinking he’s the boss like other dogs when they’re train to control other animals. Also hats off to the sheeps for waiting patiently with respect for their owner when the old man took a nap.
They dont eat meat of the sheep, they are only for cotton & milk.
Although they consume Goat meat & sometimes they consume dried meat, meat dried on a glacier & then it can be stored & used for a year without preservatives.
