Reply to ODD: sorry lost your comment, Having worked both DMR and Fusion I would say the audio quality is very similar. Much better then D-Star by all accounts as one user described it, "less robotic and less prone to breakup", the GPS is working inside my shack, and I had qso's with others working from within their home QTH and the GPS works unhindered, switching between FM analogue and FM Digital Fusion can be both manual or automatic depending on your Preference...
You can turn on automatic repeater shift but with tone squelch and scanning across frequency i'm not sure you'll get anywhere. The set can't tell the difference between the input and output Freq so if you did try this chances are you'll just be transmitting on the input frequency never actually getting heard by people on the repeater.

great video but what about the new repeaters which have custom splits ?
Is there a way to scan for frequencies like taking a road trip and coming across a open reapeater? In different states. KG7MNS. Billings Montana
