I watched another movie where daddy was.sleeping and.got annoyed when they were trying to play.Mommy, of course, took over for them.I went "Hum, this sounds very familiar , not just in animal kingdom if you know what I mean".

This lion cub behaves just like a human baby : when the mom is out of his sight he cries and calls for his mom, and when mom appears he's so happy to see his mom , hugs his mom and wants his mom to pamper him. What an adorable cub!.

I don't think it got away at all and I don't think the mother was away hunting either. You can tell by the size of their tummies that these two cubs were just recently fed a lot of momma's milk & it appears that she's trying to get them motivated to follow her to safety but they're too full and want to stay put right where they're at. 😆
Same thing happened to me when I was little. I got lost but at a mall & was scared. Luckily, a giant lioness came by and comforted me. Well, that was until she tried to eat me though.
