Never seen that one for Hulk with the droopy one-eye open look. I wished they had made this more often in the later games. X-Men: Children Of The Atom and Marvel Super Heroes truly are trailblazers of their time.
You forgot to show Juggernaut use MIND Gem to showa his special three times at once without leave his challenger tocuch the ground. Almost nobody knows about it.
I always find it funny that Thanos, the one person most associated with the gems and has the most potential to draw out their power, gets no special abilities in this game from them like other characters.

Trust me, he and Doctor Doom don't need any abilities, they are both supremely broken, significantly stronger than even the top 3 (Wolverine, Spiderman, Ironman), Thanos does Juggernaut damage while being as fast as Wolverine and Doctor Doom is an incredibly oppressive zoner, who has a ton of priority on both his normal and special attacks and does crazy amounts of chip damage.
Another details Cap: His shield always returns to him while Power Gem is active Juggernauth: The duration is also reduced by receiving hits Magneto: Cannot be grabbed as long as Force field is active
Oh yeah. In this game, Captain America's shield doesn't return like a boomerang. But in later games (Marvel Super Heroes VS Street Fighter and forward) it included it.
Another small detail for Cap when using the power gem, his infinity super has a slight change in animation, first he throws the opponent farther into the air and when he slams them into the ground.
I remember Spider-Man's clone hits were also counting for combo since I was doubling my usual combo and maximum spider was doing 10 hit instead of 5 with him but it has been a long time ago maybe that was console version
spider-man's abilety seems to sucl.. i dosn't even seem 'that' confusing given that the opponent always looks at the 'right' clone anyway then psyclock's abilety seems just objectively better i'm i wrong here? i don't get what they were thinking with that
The gems were the game that's why during each fight it was always a good idea to test out every gem after collecting them better times fun using the lovely psylocke nice bgm as well
Beat it at the arcade in 1995. Got it for PS1 in late 1997 and mastered the game. The Infinity Gems make the game so much fun. This game should've gotten a sequel.

Space stone no effect to Shuma Gorath and Black Heart when opponents use it its because they are from different dimension all there attacks are made from there its dimensions.
Honestly this game wore my fingers out, so past beating the game with each character for story and a few more times for fun, I didn't spend as much time as I wanted trying to see these effects, so thanks.
Iron Man stealing super gauge is pretty shocking. All these years I never noticed. I knew the soul gem healed him but never knew the reason why it was so special to him but now it makes sense. Because you could be shy on your next Super but if you use soul gem in combination with a couple of hits you can get your super in big combo on top of healing and get a crazy comeback but that would be rare and hard to pull off.
@5:35 The Power Gem used by Spider-Man, Morrigan also has that with Astral Vision in the Darkstalkers games A little off-topic here, but like in Street Fighter 5, each character has two V-Triggers, they function like the Dark Force in Darkstalkers 3, or Vampire Savior, and the Instinct Mode in Killer Instinct In Killer Instinct, what if every character had a second Instinct Mode? For someone like ARIA, as a sentient AI being, ARIA could duplicate herself and place that duplicate behind her opponent, a similar function to Spider-Man here and Morrigan in the Darkstalkers series
Anita - no special gem abilities because she’s not native to Marvel Universe Thanos - no special gem abilities, but he does get six unique supers, technically he always has special gem abilities. Doom - no special gem abilities because let’s be real, he does not need them.
That does make sense if you think about it do to his healing factor I don't know if it does the same to Hulk sense he has the same abilities do to the comics.

Game was made during the comics era when Hulk was in his "Professor Hulk" persona with Banner's mind so his voice is more 'normal'. It was in MvC3 when they remade Hulk to be more brutish and savage persona to fit current comics at the time
seems nothinhg save you from the damage of the Chaos dimension..not even being Juggeernaut with an Sp armor... also it is funny ,, i belief Power gem would suit hulk better like to beat you in 3 hit even with full HP.. but i guess a stone that make him move faster could make him deadly too
Looks like for Cap that Steve had some of the basis for Hyper Charging Star and Hyper Stars & Stripes with his Infinity Gem power up, like Wolverine's set up his Berserker Charge Hyper Combo.
@sejagaming I don't like black bars on my videos. If the game was properly remastered, the same issue would apply. But you can stretch the screen vertically to even it out. You are the only person who said this so it's not a big issue really. The important thing is the content and it's not in 240p

It has been designed in a 4:3 ratio so, even if you want to "remaster" it, you can't just put it in 16:9 because that will break a lot of things, like spacing. But my comment was not about remastering games either. MSH is a 4:3 ratio game, it is perfect like this. It's like people who cut the top and bottom of 4:3 movies, or squish them to have a 16:9 ratio, this is just awful. I might be the first to tell you this but that doesn't mean it is not a serious matter that a lot of people are concerned about. I don't want to be rude but deforming the picture to fit the display into an incorrect ratio just because times have changed and you don't like black borders is just bad. Games, like movies, are art. Please, respect the source material.

For every character it just refills the super meter for a short amount automatically. But for Thanos it does a unique (reverse input state on the character. It is instant and unblockable). But I did not include it because it is not a "Gem Ability", it is one of his 6 Super Moves that requires Super Meter. So it does not count for this video.

Depends in this game you could use each stone once but you could get all six. In MVCI you can only use one stone but as much as you want so far you fill the gauge for it.
And also what do you think that the last issue of predator hunters connects to predator the last hunt since in predator hunter it’s the last time John Schaefer is in comics until he appeared in the latest issue of marvel comics again.
I never got a chance to play this game so it's great to see some of the unique features. The stone effect on Shuma's normals looks especially interesting.

Well, he is the only one with access to the Mind one, and he only drops them when hit with a hyper
That's not true, all his super moves are based on the gems

That's what I was thinking. So many Power Gem abilities are making doppelgangers, but the Reality Gem is the one that's supposed to do that.
And Berserker Charge should’ve been tied to Time Gem.

Here is one you I also noticed. If you use the Power gem with Psylocke and use her Maelstrom ability you get 3times the amount of hits you normally.
