Listening to this on my Sony WH-CH700N. Based on your and ofher reviews I can’t see any reason to upgrade to the Sony WH-CH710N. The Taotronics Soundsurge 55 has the Sony digital noise cancellation chip for around half the price. Why not consider comparing?
i just got these. they're eh. for around $80 they're pretty good, but not worth $200 by any stretch. they feel cheap, sound okay, and noise cancelling is par for sonys. decent for gym headphones
Oh wtf why I didn't see this video before? I just bought the 710 yesterday and waiting to receive it...I thought it was possible to adjust the EQ! I will change to XB900 I think lol Why Sony excluded the EQ settings??? Also, I didn't like the audio quality of this phone - it misses quality in middle and high frequencies - it's not so clean. Too bad. I expected much more about the quality of the sound! I'm very disappointed! I'll just try to change to the XB900N, but I'm worried about the quality too. Because I'm comparing to a Audio technica ATH M20X, that's really good, but wireless.
Mine have finally broken after about two years of less that perfect treatment. The left earcup doesn’t want to be on the headband anymore. That’s my reason for even watching this review. I think the XB900 will be my next pair. I already bought a pair for my wife and she loves them.

My Sony WH-1000XM3 squeaked and creaked exactly like this. All my 7 pairs, yes. So it wasn’t just a faulty pair but was followed by 6 replacements within 2 months until I said game over.
I've got the WH-CH700N. Kinda of disappointing, particularly how poor the ANC is. Very much Sony's entry level / basic headphones and it shows. Lightyears away from the XM3s.
This is exactlly why i have returned my 710n 5 days ago.... i have waited this rew for long lol, but i have the xm3 now, i know i know... wait for xm4... but after trying 710n and they are worst than 700n i think xm4 will also lose something, corona crisis etc....

They started to meet us half way with the WF-1000XM3 and all subsequent models which can switch between devices much quicker as you no longer need to disconnect device A before switching to device B. Not perfect but it's a start
If your going to review those, you might as well compare them to the the 85s to the Anker Soundcore Life Q20s. As those are the 2 top of the budget headphone market IMO.
i got mine for 3 days and send them right back, sound was bad, if the headphones touch soemthing u got a horribly scratching noise from the plastic, connection allways broke, no case , no app support, ANC was also bad from my opinion.

Geekria are just generic Chinese 3rd party products with a "Name' brand slapped on them. If your gonna go that route just find a cheap Generic pad from Ebay or Aliexpress and save yourself some money. On the other hand, the Dekonis are custom well built "High Priced" replacement pad with plenty of ear space and room (very different from the originals). Some say any pad other than the original will affect ANC, others say no. So the conclusion seems to be subjective and relative to the user. I have the xm2, xm3 and QC35II. I just put 5 dollar chinese pads on the QC35s and I can't tell the difference between those and the originals as far as comfort or ANC. I did notice the opening is ever so slightly smaller. ...for 5 bucks ..I'm not complaining.

I bought the XB900N a 6 months ago thanks to GYMCADDY's reviews. After those 6 months, these headphones are incredible! They have a good amount of base and you can tune it to your liking since it works with Sony's app. An added bonus is the "35 hrs" battery life that Sony is advertising is a low ball. I had used these headphones for over 40 hours and I didn't even hit 0%. I highly recommend these headphones, especially if you can find it at a good price, like I did.
@@bleyer7821 the audio quality, comfort, and connection are completely fine. But over the year of using it the headphones, specifically the band, started wearing down. The headphones started creaking and even a part of the band disconnected, luckily I was able to put it back in so it wasn't permanent damage. During the past year of using the headphones, I have been using them heavily. More than 15 hours a day. Idk how long headphones usually last, but it's quite disappointing to have this much dmg after only a year. A part from that the headphones are great

I just sent my ones of these back for a refund. They're awful, especially for £99 Sony headphones. Over powering bass, and muted/muddy highs and mids with poor clarity. Like you're listening with a wall in front of you, avoid them. They look nice but that's it.
Why you never reviewed the Nuraphones? Those pairs easily blow away most wireless ANC flagships, including the Sony XM3s, Bose NC700s and QC35 IIs, Sennheiser Momentum 3s and many others. I’ve returned all of these I mentioned above after I received the Nuraphones. They play in a total different league. The difference is night and day in sound and build quality as well.
I find it hard to find a reason to buy the 710's at 200$, since the xb900n's are like under 150 now...

I've had the 700's for well over a year and to describe them as "cracking and squeaking a lot" is a wild exaggeration.
