You have no idea how much I appreciate this comparison! I had a head injury last year, and need noise canceling in public places because of the sound sensitivity. I figured they offer a little bit more noise protection than my Airpods Pro. I wanted to get over-ears using my Airmiles points, and these are my main two options. I thought I'd have to do a deep dive between videos to compare, but here you are directly comparing them! And you addressed all my questions: how much pressure they put on your head, bass level, noise cancelation difference. So glad I'm not going with the Sony now, the bass would have KILLED me.

july 2023: I just got the Sennheiser 450 BT. I updated the software, and I think it sounds better in noise reduction mode...
I also notice that the equalizer has been improved on the app. I added a little bass and a lot of treble, the sound suits me better!

I got the 710n's for $50 refurbished. My phone has a built in feature that allows me to change the eq, and i got a really comfortable pair of 3rd party ear pads that make the experience feel completely premium. honestly if you can find these for around $50 they cant be beat!

Living on the countryside gives you the benefit of not being in need for a really strong ANC, so yeah, I love my Sennheisers.
Hi everyone. This morning I tried the Sony 710n and the Sony 700. To be honest, the 700 sounds a lot way better (amazon music). The explanation of how the 710n sounds is very close to what I heard this morning. Such a delusion. The latency of the 700 even though the BT version is 4.2 seems to be zero on youtube and the audiocall are clear, for both you and the listener. The 710 on audiocall sounds a little better, but... a little! The ambient mode ruins the audiocall, and the NC looked the same to me, honestly! I hope you needed this comparison. Don't buy the 710n, doesn't worth for that price. I'm going to try the hd450. Thank you for the review, usefull!

I just bought a Sony headphones, I found out too late they only had RCA hookups. The ones I had before were optics. How do I make sure the set I’m buying are optic? Newer TVs don’t have RCA outs anymore.

I can't understand something? After all, aren't all these headphones a Closed-back design? Since I see that active noise reduction has little effect on high and mid frequencies, do the headphones manage to isolate the high and mid frequencies with their Closed-back design even without active noise reduction?

had them sennheiser headphones a year ago, they were waaay to tight around the head and there was no space for my ears. got rid of them and got the xm3s on a dodgy chinese website. best decision I've made.

Yes but the Soundcore Q30 aka Life Tune is far better, louder, and you can adjust the 9-band eq with the free app.

I wanted to buy the hd 450 bt but changed my mind because of ambient pass through feature that lacks. What else you would suggest under 200 dollar excepted these two? And i am the android user.
TF is ambient passthrough? A fancy word for "open back headphones"??
@@BichaelStevens just means it plays sound from outside the headphones into the headphones, basically the opposite of noise cancelling
I just got the 450 SE. Though the sound quality is great i found few critical cons-
1. They're super uncomfortable (specially for long period use). The earcups are so small and the headband is tight.
2. The mic itself is very bad , shit ton of echo and muffled sound .
3. Mic doesn't work when in wired mode .
4. Audio keeps on cutting every 5-10 secs if I'm connected through hdmi to a monitor (basically unusable wirelessly ).
5. Audio is noticeably worse when in wired mode.
Overall I'm pretty disappointed with the experience

@@user-lt5yx1yb1d which ones specifically? Generally speaking I've heard alot of postive feedback from the 1000xm4 and the 1000xm5 . My mate just got the x5 and he's having a blast .
@@Varun-yj4vu Don’t get senheisser unless you just want it for media playback. Even then Sony might be a better option . These days I’m using pro 2 (tired of bulky headphones) and they are probably the best choice as per comfort and sound.
Review the windows headphones 2 when they come out
Sennheiser often refuses to connect to MacBooks. On such occasions there is also no way to get it to stop saying 'Pairing' every ten seconds or so. It can't be used just for noise canceling then either. So bring a cable to connect if you take the Sennheiser with you on a flight or you might get stuck with no audio and no noise cancelation for the whole flight.
No problem to connect it to my "old" 2011 Imac! 🙂

I suggest you look at sennhiser HD 4.50 BT renewed you'll get it under 5k INR and you'll get much better features than 350 BT except for battery which is still pretty great in 4.50.

Excuse me but the 710N’s have a lot ot cabine pressure. No as the 450BT since Sennheiser did a really good job with that.

@@vanshbansal9313 so the mic quality is not great it's ok..it's not why I bought them for the mic..also they connect pretty seemless with windows and Android which are what I use for my computer and phone

@@mrcello5399 ive had 0 problems with the sony..the build quality is good..the top plastic part has developed a crack but it didnt effect anything.the battery life is great they connect seemless and they have been very durable..ive def put alot of use to m. The ear pad has started to wear a bit. They were definitely worth what i paid and even if i paid full price for them i think they were well worth it..i use m everyday at gym or walking/jogging..id definitely buy m again

I got the 350 BT and am mostly loving it. My only complaint is the narrow space that the earcups provide which make it uncomfortable for me and I feel like adjusting it constantly.
The dual simultaneous connection feature is awesome though. I can be playing or watching something on my desktop computer and when a phone call comes, I can just pick up the call and the headphones immediately switches to the phone. Once the call is done, the audio seamlessly switches from my phone to my desktop computer, which is awesome.
Hey! Can I know how uncomfortable are the earcups? I wear glasses so I am a bit worried about it
@@enearu599 They are almost unbearable actually. I got some replacement micro suede earcups from Brainwavz which are excellent and very comfortable.
I don't recommend buying the HD 350 BT though. Sennheiser's consumer division has gone down the drain and they release poorly designed headphones now.
The HD 350BT has broken software in-built. There is a voice that keeps informing about battery life and it just randomly starts spamming "More than 12 hours playtime", "Between 6 and 12 hours playtime" and then kept repeating the same sentences for minutes. This happened when I was using the headphones for a remote job interview and was very annoying.
I'm using the headphones only for watching movies on my TV and haven't heard that voice for a year so maybe it occurs only when connected to a PC.

@@enearu599 Well I'm currently using the Razer Barracuda X which I recommend but they're not Bluetooth headphones. They have a USB-C dongle and also 3.5mm wired connection option so they have a wide range of compatible devices.
If you're looking for Bluetooth headphones then I'm not sure which ones are good currently. I gave up on Bluetooth headphones due to their annoying "smart" features and Bluetooth is a pretty broken technology.

I No know exactly what you mean they are way under powered and them on hi the distortions is bad on the hd 450bt volume are way to low for mobile devices I have even a 50 dollar set I got off line wit 6 eq settings that over power them in every way , they even out do My ATH-M50X audio techinea head phones at 400 bucks

I made a wrong decision after watching this. I returned the recently purchased Sennheiser HD 450BT as it's ANC is no way near my other broken headphone (Skullcandy Venue). Of cause Sennheiser HD 450BT sound quality is equal to Skullcandy Venue. I would go for a SONY WH-XB910N adding another $50.
