The way you handle those top bellhousing bolts is a work of art. Meanwhile I'm still trying to get them out lol but at least now I have some new ideas. Thanks!
@@doingstuffwithdylan4367 after watching your video I realized I needed way longer extensions lol. I got them just like you said, two 20" extensions from the rear of the trans. Thanks man
Wow, that is super impressive!! I'm currently working on an S600. I started removing the exhaust, but I see you don't have to remove it. The way you took that trans out was a work of art.
Holy-Speedy Gonzalez, Master Dylan! That was freakin lightening FAST. Glad I watched your Vid. I am planning to replace the Rear Main Crank Seal on my wife's W209 '05 CLK320. Loved your trick using the screw driver to turn the flywheel to get to the Torque Convertor mounting bolts, SMART. More importantly your hand impact ratchet with extra long socket extension to get to the Trans/Engine mounting bolts, OUTSTANDING! Did not know you could slide drive shaft back and not remove it, INTERESTING. 1 question, if I may, did you drain the trans fluid? I did not see fluid leak when you disconnected the transmission lines? Will be doing this task on my Buddy's 4 Post lift.

Im removing an R350 4matic transmission, the driveshafts, lock up seize really bad on the transfer case sockets. I have the front shaft out. Now for the rear, just remove center bearing mount and the 6 bolts that hold the driveshaft on the rear of transfer case socket and push the driveshaft back? to have space for the transmission to move back to lower it?
Have you ever had an issue trying to get the engine to transmission installed. When I sister them up, with about 3/8 to go, it binds up and I can't turn the flywheel. I don't know if the torque convertor is not seated in the transmission, or the bulge of the torque convertor is not going in the crank. Any ideas, Exhausting
I’m pretty sure the torque converter is not seated in the pump. Take the converter out try to align lugs and try to reinstall. It should have a solid thunk. Thanks for the question You may need to align the bolts to flywheel prior to install. When you pull the converter make sure it fits on flywheel without the transmission. Good luck!
