- Skyrim is a game littered with random encounters that are meant to inject additional life into the world of The Elder Scrolls 5. Skyrim’s random encounters system is among my favorite parts of traversing the game’s world and some of the events and interactions can be really neat. So today we’ll be exploring five more strange and rare random encounters you may have missed in The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.

I always carry extra blades so if they are escorting a beliver I can give it to him then "bless" the thalmor
I just save them the trouble and slaughter the talos worshiper myself. Being ripped apart by my death dog is probably a better death for them anyways

imagining a dragon capable of using a forge but has a high speech skill so their version of attacking is charging 1000 gold just for an iron dagger

I found the Madman when I already had all the Black Books so the quest got stuck forever. Damn Bethesda, I have more stuck quests than completed ones.
Wecoc1 I completed the gaurdson quest before speaking to the old dude after defeating lyrik for the first time and now I can’t complete it also if you can complete the 2nd thieves guild quest for the ring, it gets frozen you NEED to fail the quest to fix it.
This tends to happen if you already got all the black books. If you already have said books and you encounter the madman it's best to kill him loot the letter and stuff it somewhere. Do not read it!
Whats funny is sometimes the stuck ones just go missing

I decided to complete Delayed burial after met Cicero in DB "office". So yeah, I still have this damn floating arrow every time I activate it :/
I usually get the mage who wants to duel...I usually let him attack me then guards and citizens end up killing him for me...they’re so helpful

Hey, I mean, if your grave is getting looted it's better to have it looted by the dragonborn and not by some puny bandits.

@@ichesseleute7599 That is Sheogorath's artifact. Its a staff that can do anything from vaporize an enemy to turning them into a chicken to nothing at all to healing them.

I beat the darkbrotherhood questline and then an assasin came after me with a letter from astrid(she was dead at the time) telling then to kill me

I saw two giant frostbite spiders fighting each other and they ended up killing each other at the same time
Yes Skyrim assume when something is attacked it shall attack that target, so somehow one must have hit other. Ive seen Guard in combat with an animal and be hit by an arrow by another Guard turn and fight that other. You can cause this to happen if you have them attacking you and dodging allowing an arrow to hit a swordsman guard to be hit in back. Archer is then wanted for a crime :P
I once came across two dragons fighting. After watching for about 15 minutes I got bored,. So climbed down from the mountain I was on and killed them both.
When two skeletons fight each other at the same time
They must of been Synchronized

8:20 Odd, they tended to spawn more often in the Rift I noticed, perhaps you just found a random encounter spawn location, such as the trail from Honningbrew to Valtheim Towers

The first thing I did in Skyrim once I got out of Helgen was attack the guy who helped me. Then I just started exploring everywhere.

Your knowledge of this game is like opening up an encyclopedia and learning about the many different details of a different world. 5:24 This random encounter happens to me pretty frequently lately, almost like he replaced the mage who challenges you, since I haven't encountered him in a while. Anyway, when I agreed to help him in my latest playthrough, as he was casting fire spells at my ward, the Jarl of Winterhold walked behind me and the student accidentilly hit the Jarl, which made the Jarl hostile towards him and punched him to death.
I cast a calm spell on the madman in my game. He walked into a nearby stream and stood beside a waterfall, looking up at the sun rising.
He never attacked me after that. Just kind of hangs around there now.
Dude was just having a panic attack lol be a friend and help the guy out

It's not to keep people in his realm, the books are to house knowledge. Herma Mora commands the realm of knowledge, where no mortal can naturally go without the influence of a Black Book or other such object.

One time some random dude came up to me and said to hold a item for him and that he will come and get it back later. He said if I lost it he would kill me. So I kept the helmet he gave me in my inventory THE ENTIRE GAME and he still hasn’t come back for it. I think he probably died or something.

Wasn't sure if anyone's said yet but that ghost running through the woods spawns in at kjenstag ruins (morthal) and crosses the boarder to get to the grave (unmarked, pale.) Spawns "between dusk and dawn, 8pm to 5am." Knowing he came from the swamp makes it seem spookier to me. In addition, he is killable and has a full set of lootable ancient nord armor. (Got spooked when he appeared then ran at me first time, blew him up.) One of my favorite encounters too. Reminds me of the dead sailor ghost outside Bravil in oblivion or headless horseman.
4:18 I experienced this for the first time about a week ago. I was 90% sure that the ghost was glitched because I thought it was supposed to start/be a part of a quest and it just kept running instead of responding when I tried to talk to it. When the bandits attacked, I killed them, and he had vanished, but I thought that I'd lost him. I looted the burial chamber and figured that it was all just a glitch.
I thought Hircines's quest was in Falkreath

I was 12 when skyrim first got released, and I never played it. But I got it on my 19th birthday last year, and i have been hooked both on the game and these videos ever since I first started the game.
