    I want to backup pictures and some personal files in case of catastrophic drive failiure. This looks like it should meet my needs well. Thanks for explaining it well.

    Hi Aurelius, I know it's been a long time video, but still relevant until today, just Wasabi own software is not available anymore.
    Anyway, did you encrypt your data before you upload your files?

    I need to send my photos from the Laravel website to store with the custom URL of my domain. is that possible like aws S3?

    Does the Wasabi App auto backs-up a mirror of your buckets [folders you chose to back up]? Or you gotta initiate every upload?
    [say you work on a certain Photoshop file and you update it every few days. You want it to be backed up to it's newest version each time and replace what's on the cloud currently...

    Is there some way to configure a event notification type of service similar to what s3 provides with wasabi?

    Hi, great video... Have you made a comparison of Wasabi vs B2 Backblaze ? Can this service be used as a developer for a SaaS project? Thanks

      @@Abodytube2my question was posted two years ago. I'm pretty happy with Backblaze ... very affordable! Have a ton of files there and I'm paying 1.50 USD a month so far!

    Thanks Aurelius. I am trying out their 30 day free trial. I normally use Amazon S3 but figured I'd store some stuff on Wasabi and use less of Amazon's storage.

      Great! Do check out Chad's recommendation of Backblaze by as well.

    They told me setup your bucket with CDN to prevent egress free policy! SO your files will be called from Wasabi just once time! Now I'm looking for the CDN which cached files for 1full month lol!

    @2:44 - What does it mean 5.99$ Per month Per 1TB? - Per a 1TB Upload of trafiic? Or a 1TB storage?
    Say, if I wanna upload 4TB of data as a cloud backup to my PC. And I don't download usually. Maybe upload 50GB of files each month that had been updated/modified/added.
    Then- how much will I pay per month? [the main event here is that first chunk of 4TB upload. From there it could be 0(zero)-to-50GB per month to upload].

    Tricks & deception, $5.99/mo = $71.88/yr ...

    • @AureliusTjin
      @AureliusTjin  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Perhaps you are overlooking. The pricing is shown as $5.99 and they just did the math for 1 year which is $71.88 so prospects can compare against other services.. I only get charged $5.99 per month...not on a yearly basis.

      Go to Billing, then Billing Preferences, and you can set it for monthly, until 26th month.

      If you can't afford $72 a year, not sure what to say. Go to AWS and pay at least $500 a month! Now $72 a year looks good....
