In India I dont think table etiquettes are needed...Bcoz Indians love to eat food with their hands...actually i dont know how many follow this but i do..I eat with hands in a 5star hotel..but thats not an embarrasing matter..We are indians..♠️

It's just a civilized way to eat in many countries, probably you don't want to learn anything new and for those who think this is a Western concept, well then let me tell you that Italians eat Pizza with their hands and not with cutlery. The spooning technique is mainly followed in the southern states of USA, not a generic technique ..... for keeping the knives not pointing out comes from the middle ages, where keeping a knife pointing out was only done when the knights were dining in hostile conditions, and by not pointing it out meant the knight felt secure in the company of fellow diners, hence no physical threat was present ...... the same philosophy is also followed in Japan with chopsticks ......

No not at all. It’s not something new so saying that ‘day by day’ isnt true. You dont have to follow it, but it is how it is done professionally or etiquettely. In my family this has become the norm, its not hard, just the way people get used to doing something the other way, some people get used to this way.
