It's early September, and that means the kids are going back to school after the summer break, and that means the farmers markets tend to slow down. We don't have many more weeks left to finish the season, but lately sales have been really strong. Our last 2 markets have been our best since Mothers Day, and sales have been great from the roadside stand as well. The flowers are still in full production, so we have lots to sell. Now we just need to make it happen, it's going to be a busy week.

A very welcome change from the week long heavy snows and frigid weather. Let out a sigh of happy relief when you announced the fantastic total sales for the month. I love seeing the beautiful bouquets with Ian reporting sales updates on the different colors. Started Lisianthus second sowing today. Wish I was closer to split plugs!
I think it was the total sales of the week even! ;-) 3500 a month would probalby not cary them over the winter months. I am so curious about how close they came to a 100000 yearly income this year. As a future farmer I find it so generous of them to share their income with us. This is highly valuable for me.

I thought I saw a bit of panic, after Wednesday, but it became smiles. The cold Arctic air is here, hopefully you don't lose power. Soon it's seed starting and getting the plugs in. I have absolutely no idea how this year will work out. Nothing has been "normal"..

Looking forward to this years recap of the market stall, farm stand and youtube earnings!! You guys really inspired us with our journey, and our first stand went out front a couple of days before christmas! We have our best sales day yesterday! Seeing you guys make it happen (even through the struggles) has given us inspiration to give us a crack at it too!

Gorgeous as always!! Really needed this today. Brrrr... cold warnings out for us. My market also slows down when the kids go back to school. Usually, I have alot of flowers then, to top off my short season. Still trying to figure out a place for a flower stand here...not on a main road at all. I'm thinking if I have to take them to a stand location...I may as well go to market. I love your set-up there. So glad it's going well.

I had a thought, and maybe this is something you already do, but if you get all your customers to follow you on Instagram and Facebook, then if you ever have too many bouquets leftover, you could announce it to your followers and give them a discount.
I love these videos because you make it feel like we’re right there building bouquets and selling flowers. So much fun!! ❤
