Montaine did a song with David Byrne , the lead singer for the talking heads. They did it at eurovision 2 years ago. It's called " always be you" It's a great song
I've grown up and live in Adelaide, Kaurna country. I listened to the song a lot when my dad died. This song always makes me tearful. You're reaction is really appreciated and respectful. This song cuts deep especially when Montaigne comes in their voice is cutting in a brutal beautiful way ❤
If you like this then check out " exit signs". It is another collaboration with a female vocalist (named Ecca Vandell) and another aussie rapper (named illy . Like Lilly without the L) . it came out in 2019. It's one of my favorites I'll make you a hoods fan of its the last thing I do.....lol
I used to play 5-a-side football (soccer) against Montaigne. She was as good a football player as she was a singer. She used to run rings around both the men and women. Man, it's depressing when people are that good at everything
Adelaide people can relate. Montaigne is not only an amazing singer but she is great entertainer. If you ever get a chance to see her live make sure you do.
I could suggest so many different hilltop hoods songs, but im going to go with another aussie rapper, 360 'Made me like this'. I want to explain the song , but I don't won't give away any spoilers.
Yup, saying the biggest city near to where I'm from has been my go-to for the past quarter century. Although, saying the name of my hometown is a great test to see what kind of person I'm talking to. The honest ones will ask "where's that?" and the arrogant wannabe know-it-alls nod sagely as if they have a clue.
I think the song was inspired by their hometown of Adelaide, but was written as a kind of love song to small towns/cities everywhere.
Blackwood is a suburb of Adelaide.

The radio ads are actually a beat boxer - Tom Thumb!, he does the trumpet solos as well!
Tom Thum did all the trumpets etc beat-boxing using his mouth only
Tom Thum is silly good
I grew up half Dutch in Belgium, & now am an Aussie. Folk move, don't they? All over. 😄 Love this tune! 🔥

Hilltop Hoods and Montaigne have also done another song together called A whole day's night. Very similar style to this. Great reaction btw mate!

The Hoodies also did a song with Sia. They all went to the same school in Blackwood. Check it out.
@@geetee4459 they came from the same city but not the same school. Hilltop hoods are from Blackwood high and sia from Adelaide high. Same city though
That was cool. 👌🏻👌🏻
Love this song, hoping to see you react to "I Love it" with SIA
