Have you found a US distributor? These look great and really have me interested, but my concern in purchasing is not being able to get support or replacement parts easily. There's only one US distributor on the Efnote website and they didn't actually have anything for sale.

@@Lethargy01 that’s because distributors don’t sell to end users. Artesia Pro has excellent costumer service though. Go to the site and call the office, they’ll help you find a retailer near you.

  • @TheReal_Animale

Good demo. Excellent drummer. Not bad sounding kit. Very workable.
The toms are the least expressive sounding, especially the attack.
And that's noticeable with almost all e-kits.
I would use my own solution of hardware to hang up everything though.
Because I already have a lot of parts just waiting to be used again..
I think they'd be smart to also offer this kit without the hardware, and even every part separate. And of course offer the hardware parts separate as well, because there are some usable parts in it we can also use for other appliances.
Another important factor is the module, the heart of every e-kit.
What we need is as much as possible user kits, and the possibility to load our own samples. And an FX section programmable per patch. And a lot more, but these are a few key features every e-kit drum module should have.

After a long, long time of contemplating, comparing and trying, I finally landed on this set. It has everything I want for a competitive price. It was either this one, or the Roland TD-27KV (with the digital ride / snare) but I chose this one due to the friendly price. The Roland would be 170% of the price of this set and the sounds are vastly superior to Roland. I might upgrade to the 3X later on (elements can be purchased separately later on, cool).

I love the drum rack. Or lack there of. It’s incredibly frustrating and by far the most annoying part of edrums. It seems so minuscule yet an inch or two in direction or space is vital to proper technique and posture when playing. I just might hack up an old tube rack.
Also, as usual, thanks for providing us with more jaw dropping, awe inspiring playing.

    • @r.gelmers6580

I could not agree more! I ended up combining two racks to get decent pad positions for my Roland TD-4 KVX set. I could not get it right with just the TD-4 rack itself. Way too limited. The Lambda stands are part of what got me sold on this set.

    • @sierratrey

It’s comparable to an ATV because the former employees of ATV developed the EFnote. So, I guess it has no excuse if it doesn’t succeed. I’m optimistic that it will. Maybe not at the highest level.

The EFnote has bigger pads (Yamaha all 10'') and bigger cymbals but I think the Yamaha module is better (although it does not have bluetooth, while the EFnote does have that). Really depends on what you're looking for. If you want bigger pads/cyms, the EFnote is superior. If you need more options for your module, go for the Yamaha. The Yamaha is more expensive though (about 400 bucks) and also requires a hi-hat stand, increasing the price difference further.

What exactly is a spit and pinch?

    • @Maxmainstrim
      @Maxmainstrim 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@TheGamingDandy I'm sorry, this is Google. I mean the harsh attack of the sound (attack in sound - like a fat point , as if playing a мuffled cowbell with the drummer at the same time). And compressed sound (to distortion). I understand that this is the tendency now for everything in the sound to crackle, wheeze and give out incredible jumps in dynamics, but everything has its limit) This trend started with the 50th model, and worsened at 17, 27. I don't like this sound. I myself have td30, td9, ATV, spd-30, tm-2. I consider them classics. ;0))

If you want a good sounding kit but on a budget, buy milleniums drumset and get ezdrummer,
should cost you around a grand instead of half a house.
This drumset sounds good and impressive, but Ezdrummer makes it obsolete.

The very affordable NUX kits are a nice option actually:

Yet, from my own experience I'll have to add, that although you can achieve these great sounds easily with a midi connection, those affordable kits/pads will never deliver the same playing feel/triggering/realism like more advanced kits & Roland sound modules:

      Kind regards!

I've stopped trusting drum tec reviews because they can make a shoe sound great 😂🤣

;-D every kit/module has its own individual strengths, the EFNOTE kits really play/trigger great out of the box & have some nice natrual sounds. Kind regards!

If I want to use the Bell on crash 1 and the Bell on crash 2 how do I have to connect the wires?
