@@bodhithespoodergen Don't worry it won't be. If they were to do it as DLC, that would require removing the existing Battle Tower. I'm pretty sure none of the Platinum-exclusive maps will be in these games.

@@shinyhaunter0576 Yes, but what you don't realize is that it was in the battle frontier. Not the battle park. ILCA would have to completely replace 1-2 maps for the battle frontier to be added and doing that as DLC for games like BDSP would be kinda difficult what not with all the issues there could be with it. Also, if they did that they'd get backlash for not updating the whole resort area to platinum-features and that's a whole other plethora of issues with changing maps, npc locations, and handling where the player could be at the time of the update.
Dahlia is honestly my favorite out of all of them.
She has her own Egyptian style, as well as her facility theme giving off those vibes as well.
I remember spending SO MUCH time in the Arcade as a kid. So many hours, so many good memories.

@@trevor68468 I think she's intended to be Hispanic, especially evident by her name being a flower native to Mexico. That was probably Game Freak testing the waters with creating characters of different ethnicities for Pokémon outside of the usual Asian (Pokémon characters are intended to be Asian due to the first 4 regions being based off of different parts of Japan itself)
She is indian, Her looks and building resembles more India than Egypt

My favorite frontier brain design has probably got to be thorton. While his actual battles can be a pain, I love how he always looks like he's just waiting for you to leave.
Same!! Thorton has become one of my faves despite him being a minor character. I think pokemon masters helped drag me down the thorton appreciation hole lmao

He tried his best, and almost succeeded. A Crobat, Jolteon, and Politoed should not have been able to beat his team of Torterra, Blissey, and Raichu.
The fact his official artwork is him somewhat boredly pointing as if literally showing the door doesn't hurt.
My favourite Frontier Brain is easily Palmer. He's really the only Frontier Brain to get even a smidge of actual character development, though it is obvious that the Frontier Brains' trainer sprites easily tell their characters personality well enough.
This is incredible. Truly what remasters should be - not too much deviation, but fresh and interesting enough to be distinct from the original.
Distinct and not just "let's just add bass and make it sound like a rave song"
I think Dahlia, Lucy and Greta have the best designs

Dahlia's my favourite, and the fact that she has a Zapdos that matches her colour scheme is like one hell of a ripe cherry on top. 💛🖤💛🖤💛🖤
Argenta is my fave because her age group is a little underrepresented and I just love her colors. Great work!
To choose a favorite design would also have to tie in the design of their respective facility and its amazing that for all of em, you can just tell what kind of experience youre getting from just their character design alone. If I had to pick just one that embodies their facility the most, its the Battle Arcade Star Dahlia for me

Tucker dresses like a Jojo character, thus making him the greatest Frontier Brain in terms of design. Dahlia is a close second though.
With how incredibly well BDSP sold, I really really really hope that whoever is in charge of deciding DLC's chooses to add something akin to the Frontier to the game. Battling Palmer without the banger Frontier Brain theme just wasn't the same.

The Battle Arcade was my favorite facility because I was REALLY good at stopping the roulette on the exact spot I needed. Even if I've Toxic'd Dahlia's entire team, though, there was always a rush of adrenaline that she might somehow win anyways. Pokemon Platinum really does just hit different, in all regards.
Palmer is returning but is using Cynthia's theme... And not a remix of Battle Frontier...

Everybody has their most memorable Frontier place. For me it was the castle could never really fit in with any of the other ones.
I liked the one where you pick one Pokemon and essentially do 1v1s with all the other trainers who all only have one Pokemon each and you can pick the type to fight against. I had a Technician Hitmontop that I made a custom set for. I gave it a Scope Lens with Focus Energy, Rolling Kick, Sucker Punch and Mach Punch. The man 1v1'd all the Pokemon in there and won with basically no issue.
Mine's definitely factory!
Mine is for sure Arcade. Atmosphere felt great
Fan Battle Facility:
Frontier Battleground - Use your entire team to do three double battles in tandem!
You issue commands for all three battles at once before the turn starts. The swapping Pokémon function instead switches them between battles. Their buffs are kept when they do this.
Frontier Brain - Battleground Tactician Terry
The few concrete bits about their AI are:
They'll take advantage of the inability to dispel buffs as much as possible. They pack Haze and Topsy-Turvy.
They're particularly knowledgeable about little known move effects, such as Minimize granting a weakness to certain slamming or crushing moves. They pack a Heavy Slam Hisui-Goodra for that specific example, but it's not the only thing they're prepped for.
Finally, their held items tend to be more niche for certain 'mons. For example, the aformentioned Goodra holds a Muscle Band.
Idk if it counts as a frontier but my favourite battle facility is the PWT. There’s just something so awesome about battle other gym leaders and champions from other regions. And don’t get me started on their BW2 themes

My favorite frontier brain design is Thorton. I'm curious as to whether or not fairy type pokémon will be implemented in the remake? The recent trailer shows chancey using disarming voice so movesets/ tutors/tms may have been updated.
I didn’t recognise the song at first but was like “this is pretty nice” then it hit me at 0:49 and I was like “OOOOH SHIIIT!”
I like supporting you, but I hate the fact that I have to come here to listen to this and not the game itself. Can't believe they put Palmer in without this battle song.
Dahlia is my favourite for sure design wise! Also her title in Japan is Roulette Goddess which is fantastic, hands down my favourite trainer title.
I always associate this theme with Dahlia, who always danced to the beat when you first faced her in battle.

As for my favorite design, I’d go with Darach for his classy dress sense, Tucker for his JoJo like fashion sense, and Lucy for her resemblance to her favorite Pokémon.
As much as I love Dahlia, Tycoon Palmer will probably always be my favorite gen4 Battle Facility Trainer. Both because of his connection with Barry that I just find incredibly endearing, but also because he's a very goofy character in and of himself. Also I want his coat.

Surprisingly making the end part of the climax loud and majestic worked well despite the original being very low and pressuring! Loved the sudden stops at the middle part. You improved on the upbeat nature of the track too. Still don't like the synths or whatever, but overall a damn nice rendition, well done.

Legitimately curious on how they'll handle the Platinum changes in BDSP.
Will they add the Charon/Looker arc? Will they keep the changes to Eterna and Hearthome's gyms? Will they implement the Distortion World in some way? What about the Battle Frontier?
I really hope they take some queues from Renegade Platinum, but given ORAS, the chances are pretty low.

lol I love the whole Battle Frontier, but I have to say my favourite is the Battle Arcade. Close 2nd would be Castle, then Tower, then Factory and finally Hall.

I don't have a favorite frontier brain, I'd say; I've got a very limited and kinda fragmented experience with them since I've never played a game with Battle Frontier (*glares at ORAS*) to the point where I'd get to battle them and I never fully saw the Battle Frontier part of the anime :'D
