10:24 - Just so people know, if you cast Mana Drain on a spell that can't be countered, Mana Drain still resolves and you will still get the mana on your next main phase. The mana is not contingent on successfully countering the spell. i.e. a spell that can't be countered is not an illegal target for a counterspell, so it doesn't fizzle.
Not that it makes Finale worse, I've seen too many people dump a million mana into it, swing out thinking it gives trample just to realize people can chump their creatures

I know a lot of people dont think legolas's quick reflexes is good enough in najeela, because you have access to counterspells, but after playtesting it a ton its an auto include in that deck for me. The uninteractable protection is so good, alongside taking extra combat steps to remove multiple things. I've also looped it with underworld breach and dorks with 1 power to kill stax creatures to go off. It has never felt dead to me but to each their own!
Green is still top tier if your deck can utilize all those creature tutors straight into battlefield to win. It’s what makes thrasio decks so good. People are sleeping on green

It totally is. In a faster deck that has no ways to abuse the one ring I would play library over the ring I think.. well, I did actually in my Malcolm Tana list.
For Bloom Tender it is ESSENTIAL in Sisay which is definitely one of the TOP decks currently in the format. I think that alone should push it over the Mana Dorks at minimum.

Library is still a good rate. Yeah it sucks the first turn, but by the second turn, 2 mana for 3-4 cards is very good And by the time it's 6 it's faster than one ring draws
I know it's more of a meme deck right now, but Seedborn Muse is NUTS in Kadena morphs. She plays as many ways to cast creatures at flash speed as possible
Bloom Tender is one of the most important cards in sisay which is arguably one of the more popular and strong decks right now in the meta, but the card is otherwise unplayable in other decks
I’m still pretty high on sylvan. It makes the cut in my kenrith list. I run mastermind, ledger shredder, and sylvan as card advantage 2 drops. I’ve found that sylvan outperforms archivist of oghma on average so I run it instead. I try and optimize so I have turn 1 or 2 card advantage in every hand. Also delighted halfling is a dud for Kenrith. Your etali example is peak halfling value but a lot of decks are starved for color pips and I just don’t think summoning sick colorless is good when a lot of the most powerful cards aren’t legendary. It got the cut.
Greens biggest problem is that all their play styles play through creatures and combat wins, which having to play on board is just so much weaker than spellslinging
The 1 mana dorks were mentioned, but not utopia sprawl or wild growth, which can go mana neutral on the turn you play them. Are they notably worse than the dorks thanks to feeding dockside or the restrictions on them?
As a mono-green player (Marwyn) I find it funny all of the places where I disagree with this list. I think this list is pretty accurate for overall cEDH but it differs wildly from how I would rate cards for my deck
There are some things that green does that are under utilized imo. The ability to make your spells uncounterable should probably be more explored in cEDH. Cards like vexing shusher, destiny spinner and veil of summer can win you games similarly to grand Abolisher
I remember when I was able to play collector ouphe turn 1 off my gem stone caverns and thought with my dorks I'm gonna be able to get so far ahead. 6 turns later all my dorks were wiped and I was sitting there with sisay 23 treasures and an ouphe. The entire table was actually keeping him alive against everything I did to try and get rid of him. I cut him afterwards
delighted halfing giving your One Ring uncounterable is also a pretty strong bit of utility, people don't counter it often but I'd still say it happens enough to keep in mind.
Unironically Legolas's quick reflexes is great in Najeela. The two biggest problems she has is getting removed, and your opponents all having creatures to stop you from snowballing. It just handles both really well. I'm not saying it's a staple, but I think it at least has a home in one of the top decks.
100% on the dorks, I'm not playing the green dorks that only generate 1 color in my Rocco deck cuz of bowmasters, the dorks that are in the deck still are able to generate more colors like Birds and Arbor Elf(added benefit that I'm playing Yavimaya), have extra utility like Delighted Halfling or can generate more mana like Bloom Tender, Fae-burrow and Orcish Lumberjack

You repeat this process until you ping everything off the board you want. This of course you need 1 turn cycle with aphetto onboard due to summon sickness and since it gains hexproof nobody can remove the creature with target removal.

In all honesty I play sliver overlord, and I wouldn’t consider my deck a cEDH but more of a high power and I can say that seedborn muse is something that has helped me so much and is very useful, great video by the way guys have learned a lot from you all!!

noxious revival has been such good interaction for me, while being great as recursion at the same time. In my opinion it is on the level of mental misstep. Worldly tutor however is just good enough for me when it can find dockside. I would put it under bloomtender.
I won't be cutting sylvan library any time soon. Unless I'm playing it wrong I can essentially pick from 3 cards if I wish and just put 2 back never taking any life damage. Also good with the tutors if you just play it during the end step. Ensuring you see the card you place on top as well as a chance to see what you would have drawn as well. Idk it seems pretty good to ensure we see the cards we do need. I can't complain about my build. Let someone borrow it for league play and they dropped turn 1 Bristly, turn 2 vorinclex, monstrous raider and turn 3 voice of hunger. I may have the turn order for vorinclex wrong but you get the point 🤣 maybe he'll randomly see this and we both can laugh about it
I play Kinnan and noxious revival has been really good in response to my brothers fetch land I put Savian's reclamation on top of his library ibknow it's not the main use but it comes up more than u would think but sometimes the person using it doesn't think about it that way
whenever i look at noxious revival i look at my whole deck minus lands and im like would i pay 1.5 mana more for all those cards tally the yes and no and if yes is greater than 30-35 cards in the deck i keep it in for 3-4 colors for 1-2 colors i use noxius if its over 10 cards i would
I've never ever swung at my Invasion of Ikoria. But MANY times I have won with a Nykthos that needed the devotion. My friends now swing at Invasion themselves if I have Nykthos in play 😂
Also not that it comes up a lot but if you flip etali and flip battle of ikoria it’s a one shot because of the poison counters. I have actually killed someone this way it was pretty funny

A lot of formats ban Natural Order. Protean Hulk used to be a big thing. And occasionally I hear people complain about Gaea's Cradle, which isnt green but yeah. Anyway, I agree, nothing really bannable in green.

Idk I think mystical elf would be a great card in cedh. It has 0 mana cost and is an 800/2000 because it's from Yu-Gi-Oh 😂

Some decks do like a mana source that can also punch people, dorks are still great. Can't draw Tymna cards off of an arcane signet.
