Yeah, I don't think there is any other way to lose to Glass Joe faster. He's the slowest opponent after all lol. And yes, Don showing up on the second fight is the best thing that can ever happen. I don't know why, but I like Don Flamenco more in this version than the Nintendo or Famicom version lol. And you're very welcome. My strat for Contender Bald Bull changes everything about this game. Easier to do too.
At around 13:41 (where you get Aran Ryan in a stun for the 2nd time in the fight), I was thinking to just throw 6 punches instead of the full 7. That way, the game time slows down and Aran won't need to center himself much for the 1st star.
Experimented with that a little, for whatever reason, he won't do it with the single segment strat. 6 hits'll just make him start shifting around again when he's unstunned. The fact it works in the IL strat's real strange to me. Thanks for the suggestion though :)

It's frame perfect if he goes into the uppercuts, loses 2 frames if he "Boo!"s, honestly who cares though.
I'd much rather take Hippo over Glass Joe, only loses 2 seconds from the best luck than 9, plus I got Don for the second one so I'll forgive the game haha.

At around 13:41 (where you get Aran Ryan in a stun for the 2nd time in the fight), I was thinking to just throw 6 punches instead of the full 7. That way, the game time slows down and Aran won't need to center himself much for the 1st star.
Experimented with that a little, for whatever reason, he won't do it with the single segment strat. 6 hits'll just make him start shifting around again when he's unstunned. The fact it works in the IL strat's real strange to me. Thanks for the suggestion though :)

Sean Murray You can only do that against Aran Ryan with a precisely timed Star Punch. As you see, it ends the match instantly, so it's a pretty good trick.
Fede 64, yeah figured it can only be done against him, but its still a good hidden ability. I guess you can only do it against him in title defense.
Sean Murray There's actually another way to do it against him in Contender Mode, but it's a different instance.
I wish more punch out wii speedruns would go through the story instead of taking on the characters in challenge mode

Only the fights count to the timer. Cutscenes and loading screens dont
The 21 minutes are from the fights only; the extra time the video takes are for cutscenes and the credits (which is quite long)
