Phillip Berk Ah gotcha, I was searching up the 2011 vantages w/ a manual back in February, it was littered with many low mileage examples for under 105-115k. But vipers are awesome, so it sounds like you're set.

First I have to say how much I love your videos. Seeing your progress always gets me excited about my car. It's funny you comment about your roush axle back loudness with the headers. I have a 16 gt that I just put on the roush axle backs and a lethal performance h pipe and it's already a monster and my headers are on the way. I can't wait to see how it sounds. My neighbors hate me now as it is so I can't wait to see their reactions
Very impressive numbers David. Glad the car is running strong. Just be careful on the throttle though, there's a reason Roush builds their Coyotes with forged pistons and rods when running boost. Wishing you a long run on that setup bro!
I think Corsa Xtremes might be louder than the ATAKs and Roush, I've got em on my 2011 GT and they're deafening at WOT and I haven't even gotten headers yet. You should look into Corsa sports if you want to be quieter.
Smurf sounds aaaaaawesome! The neighbors can just move out. My neighbor has a 5.0 with Roush exhaust and his neighbor has a 5.0 with a full exhaust and I smile every morning lol. Best alarm clocks ever!

Yeah, when I took my Mach 1 to get dyno tuned with the Procharger I asked my tuner "So do you start with the Procharger tune and tweak it?" He was like "Oh hell no, their tunes are trash! I'm gonna start with a stock 03 Cobra tune." lol... Glad you got a proper tune David!! I told you back in Jan how much better it is. I have a built motor that's getting installed this week and we're going to push that P1SC for all it's worth! Should be about 600 rwhp. I AM SO FRIGGIN PUMPED!!!!! Will be going F1A soon...

my good friends big turbo 2004 R32 is the closest i got, it was about 500whp. he let me drive it also, i have a couple videos of it. and my 2 Superbee's... well they werent even close.. maybe 420whp..

I have stainless power long tubes on my 13 GT. Great product. I have Roush axle backs too. Super loud. Plus I have a convertible so I can really hear it.
Looking for suggestions on my next upgrade.. Love your videos. So far bought my stock 2010 GT Stock Mustang. So far have added a BBK Cold Air Intake, BBK 65MM Throttle Body and Spacer. On deck a Hurst Short Throw Shifter and Borla ATAK Cat Back Exhaust which will be put in this week. Was thinking a super charger and and Hot Rod Cams next???? Looking for suggestions though???? Nice. Kool numbers from the dyno tune. When ever you buy a bolt on kit from a Roush, Procharger, Paxton.. etc the tune is rather conservative. They are just being safe plus giving you a warranty with a respectable power increase that goes along with kit in case anything breaks.
I have Pypes Super Bomb catbacks and they are ridiculously loud...not sure how they compare to the roush but I think there is more competition for 'loudest'. But love the sound of yours, I wouldn't change them.

Weld in some 18" straight thru resonators. That's what I did in place of my suitcase center muffler and combined with my roush axle backs sounds like heaven! Not raspy like yours

I had GT500 axles backs, with an offroad H pipe and no resonates on my 13 GT, and it sounded amazing, after I while I heard my friends with corsa Sports and the same setup and it sounded amazing. So I traded those in for a pair of Xtremes so I could one up him haha. Now that was an awesome setup and still had the deep muscle growl and low and mid RPMs, but at 5-7k it fucking screamed.
great vid - congrats on the awesome setup.. if you want more tone and less rasp I recommend the flowmaster outlaw exhaust... I'm on my second (had one in my 2012 and now one on the 2015). Your car sounds awesome btw and I'm a big fan. Have you seen the new Roush active exhaust setup where you can set the tone from the cockpit? I think that may be my dream setup. That way you don't annoy the neighbors in the morning lol.
My 88 prelude Si's clutch went out last month and was stock clutch from the factory!!! 26yrs and finally gave up haha, if your nice to clutches, they last forever it seems 😋
Good job making that clutch last as long as it has! I hear of people saying theirs went out before 40k and think to myself, either that was a crap clutch or you cant drive!! haha Noone believes me but my stock clutch on the 03 2v I had lasted 150k miles, and technically the clutch was good, no slippage what so ever. The throw out bearing just exploded is all that happened. crazy!
Yeah I heard injected was a really good place to bring your car and if you want any really good back roads go to like the bartow county area it's pretty far from Atlanta its probably an hour away but most of it is really small and you can find back roads every where
someone else mentioned it, but you should consider gt500 axlebacks. You could get the single tip ones from a 2012 so you won't have to change your rear valance.
My body did really weird things when listening to the exhaust clips. It was chills and tingling that got tight up my spine until the up shift or crackles then it all released and shot tingles all down my arms and legs, lol. Whoa

Are you going to get more "tame" muffers to accompany the loud long tubes? Will definitely help with the obnoxious noise in 6th gear while still maintaining that amazing sound when you gun it

I did BBK headers on my 14 GT with Borla Ataks and no resonators. It was loud before the headers and obscene after. They lasted a weekend then switched to a magnaflow street. Still wanna try S types but I think they might still be on the obnoxious side.

Laughed out loud when I heard you describe the sound of longtubes. I just put a set of 1-7/8 ARH Headers with a catted hpipe on my coyote. With the stock headers, the Stainless Works catback I have was loud. After driving it the first few times with longtubes, I feel your pain/secret joy. You ever reviewed an s197(or any car) built for autocross?
You should look into the GT500 mufflers if you haven't already. I had the Roush AB on mine, then went caltess and it was way to obnoxious. With the GT500 AB its just right, sounds phenomenal, loud but not to the point where the neighbors from 3 streets over will hate you
Get the GT500 quads, they sound awesome. also, if you want less drone and more classic muscle car sound get h-pipe. xpipe give a few more HP, but you also have to deal with drone.

mustangs kind of do have vtec. Dual over head cams and variable cam timing.
late to the party man mustangs had variable valve timing (vtec) since the 3v motors.
vtec is variable valve lift as well though...

If I tracked if often for road racing etc. yes I would, but the stock Brembos up front are plenty for daily driving.

Laughed out loud when I heard you describe the sound of longtubes. I just put a set of 1-7/8 ARH Headers with a catted hpipe on my coyote. With the stock headers, the Stainless Works catback I have was loud. After driving it the first few times with longtubes, I feel your pain/secret joy. You ever reviewed an s197(or any car) built for autocross?
You should look into the GT500 mufflers if you haven't already. I had the Roush AB on mine, then went caltess and it was way to obnoxious. With the GT500 AB its just right, sounds phenomenal, loud but not to the point where the neighbors from 3 streets over will hate you

Get the GT500 quads, they sound awesome. also, if you want less drone and more classic muscle car sound get h-pipe.
xpipe give a few more HP, but you also have to deal with drone.
