I wonder if.you.drilled a couple.of small holes in the bottom if that would allow more heat.. I've ordered one for this winter to bake on my wood stove so I'll post a video if it works
That's not a bad idea, although what I do is keep the bottom in the "folded up" position and held in place by the cooking rack. Therefore, the bottom is completely open to catch the stove heat.

Agree. I also think the thermometer may be off as I can't get it very hot on a propane stove either (which is what it's made for). Thanks for watching!
First five minutes show walking in the snow and other ambience shots. Was hoping to see actual cooking in this and not just reheating a slice of leftover pizza.
Very helpful information. Thank you.
... hope you stayed warm ... that was a big snow storm here near Detroit ... can’t wait till spring either.. but this too shall pass ...stay safe ...
I would a pizza stone inside and a wielders blanket on the outside of it.

What size is your cabin and what kind of wood burning stove do you have please 😀. New subscriber, I like your information. Thanks
Thanks for subscribing. The cabin is a 12x24 (12x20 inside). The wood stove is a Vermont Castings Aspen C3. It works great!
Thanks sooooo much for your reply back.
So it would work ok on an rv propane stove?
Yes, that's what it's made for (to place on a propane burner or Coleman stove). Thanks for watching!
Could easily cook french fries with that setup. Just take a bit longer is all.

It looks like that stove is cast iron, you would probably have better luck with the oven on a steel one and no trivet.

Thermometer is known to be inaccurate.
I tune in to hear about the coleman oven you took way to long for your intro!

Get yourself an oven thermometer that will hang from the rack and retest. The built in thermometer can't be trusted, it's worthless.
Stop that horrible sound. Rather hear nothing.
