Based on simple and intuitive hand management, Heat: Pedal to the Metal puts players in the driver's seat of intense car races, jockeying for position to cross the finish line first, while managing their car's speed if they don't want to overheat. Selecting the right upgrades for their car will help them hug the curves and keep their engine cool enough to maintain top speeds. Ultimately, their driving skills will be the key to victory!
Drivers can compete in a single race or use the "Championship System" to play a whole season in one game night, customizing their car before each race to claim the top spot of the podium. They have to be careful as the weather, road conditions, and events will change every race to spice up their championship. Players can also enjoy a solo mode with the Legends Module or add automated drivers as additional opponents in multiplayer games.

    Thanks to @StephenOwen on BGG:
When doing the upgrade draft you put out 3 cards plus the number of players so 4
The heavy rain on the Japan track only affects shifting down gears
You discard cards from your hand in step 8 and played cards in step 9 just before replenishing your hand
On the 2(3) corner on the first lap you moved 6 and could have slipstreamed past the corner costing you 3 heat rather than spinning out with a boost
40.39 You remembered to use Adrenaline to move 1 space but forgot the cooldown to put a heat into your engine
1.02 onwards - you were last so could have used Adrenaline each turn to cooldown and not spin out
1.12 you are correct - both players and legends ignore corners after the finish line

at 44:13 you cool down but place the HEAT card in your dispile deck - it should have gone into your engine. And you don't pay Stress when you gear up or down in wet places, you pay HEAT!!!!! Big change but you use the right card to pay with.

Yeah I sometimes used the wrong word, I sometimes caught myself but not at that time. Thanks for catching it 👍🏻.

When you spinned, instead of boost you could have slipstreamed :)

Omg, yes! That would have made a huge difference 😅. Good catch!

@@somanygamessolittletimesmg7725in addition, the slipstream would have been as if you were on the same square as red and green and not placed behind them.

Is the sound very poor at your place? It is here at mine.

It’s possible as my wife was messing around in the background 😅 + I relocated the microphone. If this is seemingly a problem for everyone I will readjust it for next time.
My wife however will continue to do as she pleases 💀💀🤣🤣.
