That's a Great suggestion! There's a lot of overlap with the instruments actually. You need the same breath support and stability. So about 50% of hard stuff
Nice. I’m getting back into alto after 18 years of not playing. Been playing the harmonica family of instruments for the last 17. Try the Harmonica next. You can carry it and practice virtually anywhere. Diatonic harmonicas make great companions.
I started teaching myself the sax 2 years ago so your channel resonates with me! I’m learning alto but I like the sound on your tenor! Trumpet sounds good too 👍🏻
AmnI wrong or with sax you use the tons of valves to give the intination plus you don't buzz, just blow air into the mouthpiece(which contains the "buzzing" part)?
Nice dude I’m a music major and damn man try a week and half for the brass course it was tough all 4 major brass instruments in 4 months
Thanks! That must have been hard. But also so much fun!
Nice stuff man, have always thought too that trumpet must be crazy difficult too compared to the sax with only 3 valves.
Next challenge: trombone!
That's a Great suggestion!

Thanks for the tip. I tried the harmonica but it didn't click for me sadly.
@@Learning2Sax yeah, blues harps are a different animal. Easy to play difficult to master is the saying.
You are funny 🤣
Haha thanks! 😅

That's Awesome! You are doing great! Recording Yourself is a great idea! @@spidermansmum
I do record, I play my keyboard then play along with my sax like a one man band tbh I’ve loads of videos on my channel I sing too 🤣🤣👍🏻👍🏻🎷🎷🎷🎷
next do learning oboe in 3 days.
Sounds good!
LOL so is the channel going to be renamed learning 2 sax and trumpet
Hahaha. No, it will stay learning2sax. For now... :D
So what is easier to learn?
For Me, it was easier to play the trumpet. But that's because I already was playing the saxophone for a year.

The saxophone has a reed that vibrates. On trumpet, your lips vibrate.
