  • Tambuli Seaside Resort and Spa is a brand new condominium resort in Mactan Island Cebu. One of the newest beach resorts in Mactan (at time of making this video). It comes complete with multiple swimming pools and beach front area. A popular resort in Cebu for day use. Tambuli Seaside Resort and Spa rooms are modern and stylish starting from the studio room. They also have 1 and 2 bedroom suites. See video for room rates. At the time of making this they had some really great promo rates. Other facilities at the resort include a gym, a spa (which is yet to be completed) and restaurants. There are still a number of things still under construction.
    I filmed this before and after the quarantine in Cebu so you can get an idea how the place will work again after quarantine.

    *all rates and information shown subject to change please check directly with the resort.

    We stayed there in February, our friend owned condo so free of charge except food and drink, very quiet as Korean and Chinese already banned from travel, love the place, we will be back as soon as we can,

      How awesome is that, free accommodation in a place like that. As you see from the video it's still really quiet at the moment.

    i was born in the island of mactan in the 60's , zero infrastructure in mactan until the 80's, hotels keeps growing like mushrooms in the island, mactan was overall green with coconut trees...fishing is our local means of food and leisure, nothing much to do after sundown, locals knew each other from marigondon to punta engano, i missed the Mactan Island we used to enjoy without those commercial hotels, condos, & residences, & foreigners....we just lounge in the shore without those new white sand, white sands were just filled up when hotels started to build up....Mactan Newtown is newly built area ....it was Portopino in the past, and nothing but mactan limestone all around the area, we used to spend our weekends in the area, and filled ourselves with locally catched fishes and seashells as everyone does not go home with empty stomach.....Take care of our rich resources in Mactan and the neighbouring islands, they are our treasures! Enjoy and be environment concious....

      At least you have those memories of the good old days. Not many of us will ever know Mactan that way. I remember seeing a photo of Boracay in the 1970s, I would of loved to of been there at that time. My god how things change. Progress never stops.

    I agree with you re Mactan beaches.
    Very unusual to have a full size single door fridge plus a microwave. May well suit someone who wants to stay for a month and not 'eat in' the resort restaurant every night.
    First room had a small bedroom. Annoying that when resorts refurbish or build from scratch, they don't incorporate silent airconditioners: plenty of manufacturers make these in 2021-22.
    For a May 2022 stay, the resort's good website suggests that a deluxe room is P5988/night including breakfast and the use of watersports equipment for half an hour, as you mention.
    18 months on from your video, let's hope occupancy rates at Tambuli are slowly improving.

      From their FB page they were only closed for a couple of weeks after they typhoon so things seem to be running back to normal. I would of thought they may have promos in light of what happened but maybe things are going well! The photos look like it was ok, just a little less green.

      @@FindingParadise what is the meaning of Tambuli? Actually its my family name, and I was wondering what it means in the Philippines. I had been there for 2 years, when I worked in san carlos city.

      @@civilhorizon i Googled it and it said this "

      @FindingParadise  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In pre-hispanic Philippines, the “Tambuli”, which was an indigenous tool made out of Carabao horn, was used as an instrument for the natives to come and attend meetings called-for by their elders, listen to announcements from their chieftains or take part in making decisions for the safety and well-being of the tribe ..

    You toss all those mask mate. They never worked anyway. Nice of you to video this place for coming next month. Wondering if they have a back up generator?

    • @FindingParadise
      @FindingParadise  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it was compulsory back then when I filmed. They have an Italian restaurant open now as well. A place like that would definitely have a generator. Hope you have a great time.
