I would argue that finn should be put above bb-8 because of his middle ability-that ability in hallways in ga and supremacy can buff your team so much that its almost unfair to the other team
Somehow this game is so balanced that a lot of the hero’s and villains with very very different abilities and playstyles are deadly and unstoppable in the right hands
I think Bossk really is a great hero but there's a disparity between his HvV performance and any trooper mode. His lower health and awkward abilities that deal AoE damage don't lend him well for when he gets cornered by a saber wielder and even when he's playing very well (jumping and abusing his best abilities) he can be a sitting duck. Meanwhile Iden can actually deal with heroes in a 1v1 (or at least more reliably than Bossk) while having arguably a more useful AoE with a counter towards other blaster heroes, and Boba is so versatile and annoying to counter that ye doesn't have to worry unless there's an Anakin yanking him out of the sky. Even Phasma in HvV does Bossk's job of defense better (and that's ignoring that Palpatine also just does what Bossk does better in either mode outside literal sniping).
If i was a developer in battlefront 2, Palpatine would have an ability that could change between lightsaber and force lighting, i would change that for dark aura.
Phasma is a shooter but has her staff for melee strikes & Commando droid has the sword. Palpatine should have his sabre(s). But I do find the electric finger poke quite funny
They should make 2 versions for Palpatine the one we have now of course and the second one as council palpatine and instead of lightning it’s both of his lightsaber.
His second version wouldn’t be called palpatine it would be called Darth Sidious L1 ability, shoots out chain lightning, middle ability, mini force choke, not as devastating as Vader but has a quicker cooldown. And r1 would be his dash. Like the one he does in the fight against windu when he comes flying outta his seat.

My main was Lando Calrissian when I played on console. I remember being often in first place in Heroes Vs Villains. I loved every single one of his abilities as well as his blaster. I could throw a stun grenade (don't remember the name) on the ground while a foe was close to me and shoot him extremelly fast in the head while he was stun to instantely kill him. Smoke grenade was pretty useful to survive while the stun grenade was on cooldown and Sharpshot ? Well it was just the most satisfying skills in the game, especially in mods where you could have multiple kills with one use of his abilitie.
I’d put Finn way higher, but that’s just my opinion. A lot of people hate on him but if you can stay on the move while keeping distance his guns awesome, in HVV he absolutely melts other blaster heroes with Deadeye, especially BB9E, Palpatine and Boba, and he’s the best support. I personally use all my Boost Cards to up his Deadeye ability ( larger lock on radius, increased damage after 3 kills, and extended duration with each kill ). Not to mention you can keep your whole HVV team hidden on the minimap with his right ability.
You’re hip bro, I used to be a Finn main back in the day so I 100% can stand by what you’re saying here. For me I just feel like all the other heroes got these insane buffs and the just left Finn hanging
As a maul main I can agree with everything, maul is a good character but the problem is, is his blaster stamina or his health. He has about 700HP which is a problem because every time I go against a light side hero I always get my opponent down to 1 or 2 hits but because his health I’m killed right before I actually get the kill. Also your right about the buggy Part, there’s a glitch that can mess me up sometimes where I use his furious throw and his lightsaber becomes glitched in the ground, the good part is that it’s programmed to come back to you, so your basically swinging and doing damage without a saber in your hands, it’s looks cool but when it happens in the middle of a duel You expect it to come back. So you spend about 2 seconds with a invisible lightsaber in your grip, and those 2 seconds without me realizing that it’s literally in my hands gives my enemy an opportunity to get some hits on me and I start losing.
Big facts, I think him and Anakin are the two most buggy characters in the game. It’s sucks how they’ll never be fixed by EA and DICE. I get that Mail glitch quite often and it’s definitely alarming at first 😂😂😂

Dioxis grenade might be the most underrated ability in the game. People just aren't looking at it the right way. Yeah it doesn't get a lot of kills but everybody has to leave the room it is or die so it basically makes any room belong to your team.

Bossk should be WAY higher. I am a GOATED MAX Bossk and I DOMINATE HvV lobbies as long as I don't have shitty teammates. He's the best hero for trooper modes and can do really well even in HvV. Bossk is one of the best heroes in the game if used correctly. He should be number 6/7.
If I were you I would work on the grievous I know you said hes very easy to parry but I have a max level grievous and he dominated in almost every situation my starcard loadouts would be HVV: beating heart with with Sith trained and fleash is weak Trooper game modes would be : line up weaklings, sith trained(can swap out with beating heart if you dont feel like you'll do great with sith trained, and lasty fleash is weak

Completely disagree, he has 800 health with the right cards he can take out heroes and reinforcements in one move with the disabler and has the best crowd control move with sharpshooter.

I think that hvv should have a very small stake in hero ranking. Judging a hero off of their abilities in hvv is like judging an NBA player off of their placement in the dunk contest. Supremacy and galactic assault are the main mode hvv and showdown are side modes.

im personally really good with palpatine, kenobi, bossk and grevious and would put them higher. at the end of the day, most of the heros are amazing as long as you understand how to use them. some heros fit some peoples playstyles better than others, which is good, as then people will be able to find a hero to dominate with and make their experience much more personalised and enjoyable.

I have to disagree with BB-9E, I managed to take on an Anakin and Obi Wan (With my Team mate Kylo just watching) and I managed to take both down to Half health, I’d place him above Finn.
Boba is a beast if you know how to play him. You can stay just out of range and pepper anyone with bolts. Imo he's pretty weak against blaster heros tho even with concussion rocket. Finn fucks him up everytime.
For other modes, Luke is the best. He was the one that received the best treatment when heroes were overhauled. Rey is close second (USE FARSIGHT AND BOTH DASH STRIKE CARDS!!!!!) followed by Vader. Bossk is awesome as well if you master him, probably better than Vader. I mostly played before Anakin and the others were added, and held the killstreak records during beta and most of the other records the first few years after release as well. Back then, Palpatine was obv the best, followed by Maul. Iden Versio is the one I had the most fun with when she got her healing droid card, and was BY FAR the top hero in the game. You always had full hp, could oneshot EVERY SINGLE HERO and had amazing capabilities for smacking troops. My god that was a lovely time

Finn is super powerful in all modes, he’s an amazing support character but it’s hard to say he’s better than most characters in the game for me personally

I think that hvv should have a very small stake in hero ranking. Judging a hero off of their abilities in hvv is like judging an NBA player off of their placement in the dunk contest. Supremacy and galactic assault are the main mode hvv and showdown are side modes.

im personally really good with palpatine, kenobi, bossk and grevious and would put them higher. at the end of the day, most of the heros are amazing as long as you understand how to use them. some heros fit some peoples playstyles better than others, which is good, as then people will be able to find a hero to dominate with and make their experience much more personalised and enjoyable.

Boba is a beast if you know how to play him. You can stay just out of range and pepper anyone with bolts. Imo he's pretty weak against blaster heros tho even with concussion rocket. Finn fucks him up everytime.

For other modes, Luke is the best. He was the one that received the best treatment when heroes were overhauled. Rey is close second (USE FARSIGHT AND BOTH DASH STRIKE CARDS!!!!!) followed by Vader. Bossk is awesome as well if you master him, probably better than Vader. I mostly played before Anakin and the others were added, and held the killstreak records during beta and most of the other records the first few years after release as well. Back then, Palpatine was obv the best, followed by Maul. Iden Versio is the one I had the most fun with when she got her healing droid card, and was BY FAR the top hero in the game. You always had full hp, could oneshot EVERY SINGLE HERO and had amazing capabilities for smacking troops. My god that was a lovely time
