EKDrifter458 The original DBS to my is one of, if not the most beautiful cars ever designed. Although I don’t think this is quite that good, it’s a really nice update to the design.

Having been the owner of the first Vanquish, this Aston Martin brings back the "brute-in-a-suit" in a BIG way! One of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen by Aston Martin. Can't wait until it comes out! Thank you, James!! This was a treat!!

Yeah the front looks good, the rear absolutely not, but imo the 2007 DBS is still one of the most beautiful Aston ever made

Headlights look a lot like F-type. Top bonnet vents are also too roundish, don't go well with those sexy side vents behind front wheels...
And the grill doesn't have characteristic AM horizontal lines - too Jaguar-ish overall :(( unfortunately...
exactly what I was thinking, modern Astons don't seem to have the timeless styling of the previous generation and aren't as unique

One thing and i mean one thing that stand out is the exhaust sound of Aston Martin... beautiful.. beautiful pure art of noise i can dance in the rain

that grill is based on the Vulcan front design and the size of it is based off the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato
the design cue is still AM I don't see the Jaguar looks

It's not bad. I like that it doesn't make the old DBS look dated, because the old DBS was/is *stunning* to look at in person.
Sounds rude as hell but preferred the db11 rear lights and I think it’s nicer when the front grill is split in two horizontally like the old dbs

Seriously? They unveil such a gorgeous car and give it such an underwhelming dull paint? Imagine that car in GT Silver or metallic white or night blue metallic with contrasting trims. No complaints about the interior though.
I love how the whole car is a mix of the whole Aston Martin Range. The front is reminiscent of the previous gen Vantage AMR PRO with the new Vantage infused with DB11 headlights.The clam shell, body and spoiler is similar to the DB11. But this i'd have to say it is a great looking DB11xVantagexAMRPRO.
I was very nervous about the exhaust but it seems it hasn’t lost too much of the bark that made me love the old dbs despite its turbocharging

Looks like a true aston. So does the new vantage. The DB11, never really looked like a real aston. Glad to see Aston maintaining their essence. And what a beautiful car.

the DBS 'Superlaggera' is...but I am sure it is much more impressive in reality! I want one & cannot decide whether to wait for a possible Mclaren 600 LT Spider or just go ahead & place my order with aston...not a bad problem to have!!

Excellent review. This car must be seriously quick if it is a second faster than a Ferrari F12 from 50 mph to 100 mph! And it incredible that the back spoiler pushes the air flow a meter vertically above the back end of the car without creating any additional drag!

Not a fan of this matte paint, the “red wine” metallic from the press shots looks way cooler to me 👍
They offer several different matte paints on the configurators, some are actually quite tasteful
