ERROR CORRECTION! We are very grateful to one of our viewers who pointed out that Uber is NOT available in Hungary. I highly recommend using Bolt because it supports the local taxi drivers who were all wonderful during our stay in Budapest. 🙂
Thank you for the tip. I imagine spring time is gorgeous though. We are definitely looking forward to coming back during a different time of the year 🙂
I've lived in Budapest teaching English for 2 of the past 4 years-so very familiar with the city. You captured it amazingly well given your short time there. There is something rather intangible about the place-it's an historic Disneyland for adults, that is, as you described filled with great food, easy access to transportation and endless things to do-all at surprisingly reasonable prices. Nice job capturing it all on your video. It flies a bit under the radar, and quite honestly, it's one of Europe's best destinations. Next time you visit, allow time to travel to the countryside, with one particular destination a must-see-Lake Balaton, about 2-hours southwest of Budapest by train.
@stephenschuit7880 Thank you so much for your comment! ♥ This means a lot, coming from a viewer who is familiar with Budapest and shares our love for this amazing city. I completely agree with you, it definitely tends to fly under the radar. We thank our friends for recommending it. Thank you as well for the tip about Lake Balaton. We definitely have plans to return to Hungary in the near future and we will make sure to spend some time in this lake.🙂
Thanks for your awesome comment! It was a pleasure to visit your amazing city and we cannot wait to go back! And I apologize if I had mispronounced Budapest. 😞 Thank you again!
WOW! Such a perfect short presentation of Budapest! I think this is the best in since I used to watch these kind of vids. ;) And don't worry about a few mistakes, that is not important. You checked so many really good places in Budapest, and the most important places all were in your list. Congrats! If I may, I'd like to suggest to come back during the summer, and check the lake Balaton, in Balatonfüred, and Badacsony (vulcanic mountain and wine), also Eger's castle and wine of Bull's blood, and of course the famous Tokaji wine in Tokaj. Of course there are a thousand good places, I just wanted give you some ideas. Hungary is extremely safe place, and tourism is on top, so you'll have fun, that's sure. :)
@balintborsos2606 Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for your amazing comment! I cannot tell you how much I appreciate your kind words. And MANY THANKS as well for your great recommendations! Excellent video! I was looking for things to do and see in Budapest and your video, by far, had the greatest number of places of all the videos I watched today. 🙂 Cheers!
Thank you so much 😊 You are going to love your visit there. Everyone we’ve spoken to has loved their time there and most people have gone back multiple times. The people are friendly, the architecture is amazing and they got some great bars / restaurants. Have fun!
You can also use Euros for payment. There are many museums there. Many film locations. Bookstores. Dining away from tourists is more relaxed setting and takes longer. There is local beer and wine also.
Thank you so much for the info. We were really bummed that we only had 3 and half days to spend in Budapest. When we return, we will definitely spend at least a week to fully explore the city and discover the less touristy spots.
Thank you for your kind words about my city! :-) I'm glad you liked it, we look forward to seeing you again anytime! Just one remark: the green bridge at 1:46 is not the Elizabeth Bridge (that's the white one), but the Liberty Bridge! 🙂
@1173Chris I’m so sorry!!! I apologize for the error. I’ll make sure to put that on the comments. Thank you so much for pointing that out. And I cannot wait to go back to your city! I LOVED every minute we spent there. The people, the food, the history…everything! Thanks again, Chris’

@francinef9884 thanks so much! No, you don’t need a private room to get a locker. You can book a locker and entry ticket for a combined price of €42. I hope this helps 🙂
@MarkMalalis-tf3wi it was cold but honestly, it wasn’t too bad. December is a great time to go because of their Christmas Markets. It was so festive all over the city. 😀
@kimllg88 wow! What a really b*tchy comment. You know our parents should have taught us nicer ways to say things such as: “I wish there was more footage of the baths”. And it wasn’t ridiculously little either. It was enough for us to know about it and inspiring enough for us to want to visit the baths. Be nice
@@Kimllg88 thanks for the comment. We didn’t want the video to be too long and our aim was to provide a teaser. Please let us know what else you wanted us to cover about the FAMOUS baths. Constructive criticism is always appreciated by us.

Green bridge is the Liberty bridge not the Elisabeth. Elisabeth bridge is the big white one in front off Gellért hill.
