Good review of a divisive car. Slightly wrong on the mileage, power and spec. iX 40 has 326bhp and a Wltp range of 257 miles and the iX 50 has 523bhp and a maximum range of 380 miles Wltp. The bronze detailing is an option and not standard on any model.
Well, the supermodel with the high iq, certainly got my attention, but the car is also nice😉.

The door handles are nice. The rest is gimmicks BMW hopes will make you overlook the awful grille, steering wheel, and fake leather

Shame BMW didn't come out with an updated i3. Something iX sized is crazy on UK roads
A few spec errors that need fixing. The 40 has a 257 wltp range and the 50 has 516 hp
How are the two versions priced ?

X-Drive 50 has 523 horse power and not 384.
Also the Bowers and Wilkins music systtem shocased in your press car has 30 speakers.

Nice video, well done with a very nice presentation. BMW do a great job overall, design is down to the individual just like any art or music, very easy to criticize when the armchair critics weigh in, thank you for the video and well explained. Might just go with the i4 m50 though.......

January 10 2022, my iX made its freeway debut. We would never have thought the first drive would have been a nightmare. the iX fine until that moment- about 20 minutes on the freeway. A loud “Bang!” struck us frozen. At that moment, the bonnet hood smashed the front glass!

It is realy impressing, but the cost …..
Nice and decent, €90k, 2.5 metric ton vehicle, that for 99% of the time will transport 1 person . . . . But he, it is electric, so enviromentally friendly yes?
compared to an ICE equivalent? yes.
Great looking car. Good value for money? probably not, as few negatives would put me off, even if had that kind of cash.. I can't believe that the boot is tiny, considering this is the size of X5 or Etron.
Really don't like the look at it. This doesn't look like a BMW at all; more like an Alfa Romeo.
I also love how one moment she says "Tesla eat your heart out" and then tries to impress with battery preconditioning like Tesla have had for 8 years now!
Nice but excessive so they went well many...most people will be priced out
What magic glasses are they wearing? It looks like the lovechild of Mater and Bugs Bunny that's been fed too many pies
Not an honest review, this is a press car. You're not going to say anything negative about it , in fear of not getting another.
Finally an EV with door handles that will work in winter. But that grille, complete lack of screen integration, and reliance on gimmicky/tacky elements like blue belts, odd steering wheel shape, etc make makes it a hard pass.

A decent price of 90,000 or for the long range version 75,000

The front grill is a deal breaker for me.
It looks like a wale scooping up plankton. Too much transformer look to boot.
So everything is fine about this car except the trunk? I probably would not believe it huh. I think Johnny Smith and The Late Break Show did a better test of this car so back to him
The iX front is ugly as hell!
The EV specs, technology, and interior all seem to hit the right notes. However, BMW's obsession with beaver teeth is inexplicable. BMW knows that owners have to put a license plate mustache over the grille but they went with the oversized beaver teeth anyways. Bizarre.

Go with the flow I can’t stop it ,I tried but I’m giving up , you can live with the devastation caused by the stupidity of stupid humans who can’t see what’s going to happen but you may not have anybody to tell your story to in the future
Soon as i win the lotto. Another expensive electric car which the poor can subsidize so the rich can drive around and tut tut at the great unwashed and their dirty old cars...
The only electric bmw that has good range acceptable 0-60 and reasonable price is i4 e40
And can somehow compete with Tesla model 3 long range.When they build an electric car it shoud attract people to buy it instead of gas cars but if you put this car besides X5 people will pick X5 cause it’s way better in everything than this one,So what’s the point in making it?!

BMW need to fire their designer, their cars are just looking worse and worse. I grew up lusting after BMWs, now I’m in my 30s and bought a just bought a Tesla Model Y, weird-looking BMWs weren’t even a consideration
