I love non-soapy embellishments Ellen! As long as they’re not over-done. Your teeny pine cones are adorable! I have a sea-salt range and I use a little rams horn shell on top of each bar, sourced from my local beach. They are popular! I think most people know to remove them before use 😆

Curious, how do you package your soaps? Especially with toppers on them? I've discovered I really enjoy the soap boxes with windows just for looks, safer shipping & less heat gun time. Hahaha! But I also think that shrink wrapping shows off the soap more. Could you possibly do a video next time your complete your soaps with the packaging? Kinda like you do with the scrubs & butters. Maybe a whole process video, start to end (as in packaging some up for customers. Haha!

I love the look of the non soapy items, but I find that they aren't a big seller for me. I hear from ppl they don't want anything on their soaps. As an artist I do love to do fancy soaps...I guess I'll just make them for me LOL. Love the soapy patterns ❤🖤🤍

I wonder if you can make a video on how to make the fragrance last longer??I made a soap last 2 weeks it was 70% olive oil snd 30% coconut oil. The soap was great, but the fragrance last only for few days:(
It really depends on the fragrance... Some F.O's have great scent retention and others just fade away no matter what you do. Mixing the fragrance with kaolin clay is supposed to help it stick longer, but I haven't noticed a big difference...

Goodspeed no longer sells on Etsy or eBay and I have searched everywhere and you can’t find them anywhere 😢 I have seen a few on Etsy but just don’t know which to choose, not sure they compare to Ulga 😊can I ask what height soaps does Ulga cut, most of them on Etsy now only cut 4” tall soap 😮

I personally do not like topping the soap with any botanicals apart from rolled oats.. somehow during monsoons they seem to fall apart :( I love them initially but after a few weeks they fall apart or grow mould .. grosses me out.. but your soap looks so lovely!!! Stay blessed and as Christmas is around the corner am sure these beauties won't stay on the shelf too long :)
Do you have issues when washing soap dishes and it clogging the drain. Do You have any tips to avoid drain issues. I was told not to wash my soap dishes for 48 hours to avoid drain clogs.
Our house is on septic, and I've not had any issues. I wipe out my dishes with a paper towel and wash in super hot water the same day and so far it's been just fine...
My customers seems mixed when it comes to non-food items on soap. I personally don’t like them. I once used a soap that had whole oatmeal in the soap & on the top and it grossed me out! It was so slimy! After that I stopped adding non-soap items to my soaps!

That's a good video idea! I do a mix of boxes, paper wraps and shrink wrap depending on the bar....

Soaps are adorable. Wow.. You have a great hands to mold nice soaps. How much percentage of Fragrance oil you used here?
I always look up the recommended usage rate for fragrance, and if I can't find that I go with 5%
Non- soapy items are ok depending on what they are n as long as we note that they are not made of soap then I don’t see any problem with it.

Do you use powdered milk with water or real goat milk?
I'm currently using farm fresh raw goats milk from pasture raised goats.
