    I just replaced both of these parts.took about 2hrs. Was not hard but not easy either. I did realize by the time i had the drum upside down,that its an unnecessary step. The black pulley can come off while its on, it has a built in escape entrance for the rod. Should have been an hour job (unless mine is a different model) . I got it to work though which is what matters

    Alex, I just sent you a couple of emails of short video's of my Speed Queen top load. The front cover is off so you can hear the noise. I would so appreciate it if you could listen to it and let me know what is wrong with my machine. Thank you so much.

    Can you cut it with a saw ?

      You should indeed cut it with a saw. Anything else would not give you the same satisfaction.

    was it really necessary to pull the pump?

    • @amiedavis5257
      @amiedavis5257 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! You can 't get the belt off without removing the pump on this machine. I have the same machine. They are FANTASTIC machines but those clips absolutely suck.

    Great video. Just one question: Make sure it spins freely? What part are you spinning? The camera is showing something not spinning? Is the pulley supposed to spin freely when the spring is connected giving it tension? I replaced the belt but when the spring of the pulley is connected it take effort to spin the pulley. Then the agitator is not working. I wonder if there is a connection but I can't see anything wrong with the installation of the belt.

      Hello, After I installed the belt I'm turning the belt clock wise and then I went counter clock wise. First the belt moved "freely". Then when I turned the other way the belt engaged on the helix and move the tub. When the transmission is shut. It will turn one side but not the other one.
      "So make sure it spins or turns freely" to make sure is ok. Hopefully that helps.

      @@alexthehandyman3494 Thank you so much for your response. Like all your videos it is very helpful. I watched all your videos I could find related to my washer's problem (no agitation after overload) and If you have time it would be great if you could make a final one showing a solution that it seems many are looking for when machine does not agitate. The final question is: Is the helix, the tension pulley or the transmission or? what does not allow the agitation? I posted a video showing the final point at which I am stuck: th-cam.com/video/CYoatlrcbJk/w-d-xo.html. -Thanks for all your videos! They are great!
