Going there in a few hours Just in time to view your thoughtful information You go so early Nobody almost nobody earlier than you guys Bravo 🎉 Thankssssss Useful Helpful advice ❤
Thank you for enjoying and appreciating Montserrat, I have been more than 30 times since my father worked as a waiter in self service for 35 years, a hug from Vilanova y la Geltrú (Barcelona)
A great and wonderful video. I am a local from a town near Montserrat (Rubi to be precise) and I bring a very important clarification. The train that goes from Monistrol to the Monastery of Montserrat is NOT a tramway. It is a rack railway. The tramway cannot climb steep mountain slopes. On the other hand, the rack railway can climb thanks to its rack pinion. Also to clarify that the funicular that goes from the bottom is NOT a funicular. It is a cable car. The funiculars are those of Sant Joan and Santa Cova. Nor have you said that Montserrat is a sacred place of respect and devotion or about Catalan culture. And many foreigners do not behave as they should. It is not a cathedral either, it is an Abbey. All well and good the video, but I only clarify that.
W went to the top as a family years ago. My farther had just been in for lung cancer treatment and this was our first holiday. It was a really hot day and being over 4000 feet up from the valley floor he had a real issue breathing The staff couldnt have been more helpful with his visit.

I love Montserrat on rainy days, it's so silent and peaceful, nothing to do with all the tourists there are on sunny days :)
Oh yeah

Thanks for th information. The audio is inconsistent, quiet when you are speaking, super loud when it is the music only.
how about some information on what train you have to take from Barcelona and where to get that train?
April :)
There's something about Spain. Remember; Hispania 220 BC.
Anything since Malta?? 😊
Catalonian monastery please!
Hitler spent his last days there with Eva Braun.
pretty sure he died in Berlin not in Spain. This is a mountain outside of Barcelona
