Dear Leul Ermias, I just want to say thank you for giving us a chance to hear you. I deeply respect you and thank what your grandfather and the leaders before him ( Emiye minilike, Taitu , etc...) has done for our country. We were a glorified nation. We were respected worldwide, exemplary to Black freedom worldwide with rich history until the Derg regime and now TPLF turned everything upside down. They tried to twist the truth and made us to be ashamed of our history and did their best to divide us. But History will never die or can’t be buried forever. it may not be now or soon, but all the great things that has been done will be told and read by future generations. One only thing about this interview I want to say is , it should have been hosted by someone who knows the history of our country and the sacrifice of the royalty keeping the country together !
Here are few of my observations; This is a very noble and decent couple. They simply have class and elegance. It's easy to sense their humility, originality, sincerity and love for their country. I'm extremely impressed how both eloquently and beautifully spoke amharic having been abroad for so many years. Helen, you did very a good job as well. I admire your gift of bringing questions and issues with out intimidating or unnecessarily crossing boundaries. I love your amharic command too, i hope you will avoid excessive use of english phrases and words in your coming works. I enjoyed and learned a lot from this interview.

He was good father , grandfather, one of the leader of Africa ,but no one perfact, he may have mista as human. He did a lots for Ethiopia and Africa. Even one of the money it shows futher dreams that was the Abaye Hydropower today. He is the King blessed Ethiopia with one small plane and so on...also the king big work was to Educate young people. Wish I could speak Amharic, I took Amharic lessons for one year when I was 11 or 12 yrs old. I know the numbers and letters but not the meaning of words. I know for sure that languages such as aramaic, hindu vedic, arabic, hebrew, greek, etc they all derived from GEEZ (the oldest language in the world).
i am proud of the grandson of the late king cuz he left Ethiopia when he was soooooo young but yet he speaks fluent Ethiopian language. But Helen, girl, why does she speak both Ethiopian and English language. please stop doing that! this is what i don't like about some Africans. i am sure you're in America miss Helen, but you need to do it professionally! i think you (Helen) could learn so much from this guy! please don't take it in the wrong way, it's just that, i see this alot in movies, interview, and songs....etc. i never like it! you have the platform, use it in the right way!
Ethiopia did pay the price, for spilling the innocent blood. Most youth who were celebrating the death of the royal family, never made it. Soon the evil derg turn the gun toward them. Till today, I believe we are paying the price.
