Thank you for this broadcast! I have three kids and I sometimes push away what they're going through and need to learn how to sit with them and understand their emotions. Meet them where they're at.

Cathy Koch is sooo wise !
Sounds corny but recalling the Waltons, they taught their kids process, consequences, responsibility. Allowed them to step out on a limb, under watchful parental eyes, then learn from their success or failure. Rewarded for evidence of learning, not just for breathing !

This is so, so incredibly timely for me and my family (we have 3 little boys). I want nothing more than to protect them at all times, but I know it’s not always what’s best. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’ll be re-watching this many times! ❤

Just saw a news piece from some parents who lost their daughter in a sand hole RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM and are trying to educate about the dangers of digging those. Traumatized a whole bunch of people who watched the frantic digging and removal of dead little girl. Apparently those cave in and should never be deeper than the knees of the shortest child playing in/around it! Who knew? Yes, kids die all the time, and we can’t bubble wrap them against all harm, but we can be wise and heed warnings of others who’ve faced the ultimate loss of their child in an easily preventable incident.

Great broadcast! I think part of why parents minimize events is because we've heard experts say NOT to give energy/attention to those things, less they become enlarged and "true". Hard to know when to apply each tactic.

I went through the link, and didn't notice right away that it had an arrow down at the bottom of the assessment intro page. Scroll down and see if it's there for you. Clicking it should take you to the assessment questions.

What do you do when your child doesn't care about the consequences? My kids are too young to see the ramifications of bad grades

@Focusonthefamily- I usually enjoy your YT channel and feel the favor of the Holy Spirit when viewing your videos. However, I do not understand why this and other videos were given the green light to allow a trans individual on a Christian talk show. I have no hate for this person, but what message are you sending the audience by doing this? If anything you are bringing confusion to the non-believers that you can be saved and also live that sinful lifestyle. I am very dissapointed in your ministry. You are slowly opening the door for the devil to deceive you and lower your morals. I hope you read this and consider my response to this video. I have felt the Lord leading me to leave this comment for a couple weeks now. I should have done it sooner. I love my brothers and sisters in Christ, and cannot stand by and watch my church family be lead a stray. Please pray about the people you interview and bring on your show. I say this in all love and grace.

Thank you for reaching out @pinkshimmer74! We’d like to assure you that Dr. Koch is (and always has been) a female. It is our understanding that Dr. Koch holds to the fundamentals of the Christian faith, including the Bible’s view of sexuality.

There are articles speaking about Cathy going through transitional surgeries... Are those lies?@@focusonthefamily

There is an Anne Koch who is trans. Dr. Kathy Koch is not and i imagine this is hurtful for her to read.
