Head canon ; Sagat was on the supplements during the Alpha series which I think is taking place in the mid/late 80’s, then during SF2 in the early/mid 90’s the fighting league imposed drug testing so Sagat stayed off the Gas . Of course a guy as powerful and connected as he is could surely pass a drug screen if he wanted to …

I will always have a soft spot for Alpha 2 on SNES. I bought it new back in the day when I didn't have a PlayStation at the time. Still have that copy and it's how I play Alpha 2 most the time. If I fire up the PlayStation Alpha 3 is going in instead

The best Street Fighter IMO. I played Zero 2 on the PSX which apparently had different difficulty and damage settings compared to the US/Pal versions. I think the best version to the play is the Street Fighter Anthology version for the PS2, it's based off the arcade version but has most of the extras of the console version and includes the Gold/Dash version too.

10:15 I'd actually say a LOT of games that came out at that time had beautiful presentation that still holds up, Samurai Showdown 3 AND 4, Art of Fighting 3, Super Puzzle Fighter 2 Turbo, Golden Axe: The Duel , Warzard/Red Earth , X-Men vs Street Fighter and even more obscure games from other devs like Waku Waku 7 aged really well. Even some early 3D games were starting to look really good and still have a nice design to this day despite the limited polygons (Tekken 2 and 3, DoA 1, Virtua Fighter 3, Tobal No.1, Star Gladiator...etc). We were really spoilt for choice back then.
The only ones I think aged really badly were games that decided to go for the Mortal Kombat look like SF: The Movie or pre-rendered graphics like the Killer Instinct Games....they look so ugly now.
