I loved seeing the different books you're reading and oh my goodness I was getting emotional too towards the end when you were talking about your kids watching you read your bible. ps- my little bible I keep with me is also NLT but my big bible is NIV lol. It is so good to see the two J's collaborate on a topic that is so vital for today's times. Ladies you are so young and yet so inspiring to many who wants to learn the word of God. I have accepted Jesus and took Baptism in July 2017. I have so far read a tiny portion of scriptures in the Bible and I have already experienced the move of God as my prayers are being answered and my circumstances have changed. I am now serious about reading and studying the Holy Bible King James Version from cover to cover. I must say Jeannie and Jack you both have a good attitude and great character and this is so encouraging for me and others. All honor and glory to Jesus.
I just found you on TH-cam because one of my best friends was diagnosed with Tarlov cycts. You such an encourager. I am adding you to my daily prayer list, and I am believing with you for that miracle. THIS video that you posted last year, is still teaching and encouraging. So, even as you are not at your best physically right now, your former videos are building people up. Keep the faith.
Loved this! My favorite tools are my study Bible, Give Me Jesus Journal, and my prayer cards (reminders of who to pray for, and ways I can pray for them). Loved the reminder of what it looks like to read your Bible on your phone. So true. My kids can't tell when I'm working (sending emails for church, researching something for children's ministry, ect.) on my computer or when I'm wasting time on pinterest or other social media. It's even worse on my phone!
Thank you Jeanie! I am so ashamed to say that I haven't picked up my bible in weeks. I've fallen into the trap of the world recently and convinced myself that I'm simply too busy at the moment. I think a social media blackout would be a great thing but I think for myself, I also need to follow more God focused people on my socials, to inspire me. I always feel so inspired by you and as someone very young in their faith, I think I need to be bombarded with wonderful woman like you! Haha

You are so beautiful Jeannie! I loved this video! I don’t like to read much but I have been enjoying podcasts and audible! It has helped me stay connect to the word and pushed me to read my bible. I also have been using the Bible app a lot do devotionals. But you are so right about having a visual for your kids. I need to remember that! I remember when my grandma would stay at our house sometimes and I would walk into her kneeling and praying and I just have that memory ingrained in my mind. I love that you write in your journal for your kids to read one day! I wish I was more dedicated to writing things down! I start and then I don’t keep up with it! I need to make an effort to do that! I love this video! I want to read Lysa’s book It’s Not Supposed To Be This Way. I prefer a physical bible too than the Bible app on my iPhone. I just bought a NLT study bible that I’m loving, and I have a KJV personal bible. I love journaling when it comes to the Bible too.
