    Good video. Just to say a really easy way to slowly add medication to your pond is to use a very large bucket of pond water mixed with the correct dosage of medication. Then using 4ml air hosing, gravity siphon the mixed bucket into your pond return. It will add the medication slowly over 1-2hrs.
    Also massive thanks for your fry tank videos. I’ve built a system really similar to the one you’ve done.
    Cheers Will. 👍🏻

      Thanks for watching and a brilliant tip. I rill try that the next time I have to add treatment over a length of time. Simple, Cheap and obvious now you've mentioned it. Sometimes the simple things in life work best. Thanks I will use that tip.

    Did you ever think you would be using this much math in a hobby when you were a kid in school. You would probably ask yourself what the heck kind of a hobby requires this much math.
    Glad I have a lot of upper school math credits.. Just wish I remembered them all.
    Great video once again my friend.
    See ya in math class.

      I could never get my head round all the Maths. I've still got my black log book (1978) waiting just in case some one needs to know the Cosine of something. It still makes me laugh cause I asked the teacher when would I ever need to know this crap and after detention she explained it was crucial yet I am still waiting

      Can't stop laughing.. I tried that too.. Got it at school then when I got home. My dad was a math teacher.. I couldn't win..
      Algebra calculus analysis and geometry.
      Hurt just saying it.. Haha

      Cheers for watching. I'm not sure if it has made a difference yet but at least it covers a few other things that could be wrong with it. I still think it is something internal as there are no external issues apart from a little ulcer/sore on the rim of the gill

    Great video. I’m using the same stuff in an aquarium for my young koi, what benefits did you see in the time frame since treating. I’m seeing limited success but that may be to do with higher stress levels.

    • @AKoiEnthusiast
      @AKoiEnthusiast  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not convinced about any response from the poorly koi but I had to try something to help it. I might do a second dose. The sore on the other looks a little better though.

    • @DadHD
      @DadHD 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah I’m not at home but the good lady isn’t really seeing much difference, I have one with a bad ulcer and one with fin rot (I think) My pond sadly exploded a few weeks ago (one of the walls collapsed) and been scrambling to keep the fish going. Managed to save them all from neighbours garden. Sorted now but they have definitely had a rough time.

    • @AKoiEnthusiast
      @AKoiEnthusiast  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I definitely think it is internal and Swim Bladder related but I cannot find anything online that is similar. I've tried Peas etc and Dips but nothing. Hope yours recovers.

    Hi Kev, is there any change in your sick koi or is it still the same, it reminded me of a archer fish way it was acting at the surface, stay safe.

    Hi mate is this good for treating gill flukes?

    • @AKoiEnthusiast
      @AKoiEnthusiast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for watching and asking. It is not really suitable for Flukes. I would recommend either Fluke M or Fluke S from Kusuri, but other brands are available. I used Fluke S in one of my Video's and prepred the pond first with Chloramine T 24 hours before. It cleared my Flukes in one treatment

      I agree but I had to try it. Barring an exploratory operation or a syringe in to the Swim Bladder, I'm at a loss at the moment
