    Great update I have the 10 inch jumbo vyair and it works an absolute treat although it does cost alot more for the jumbo cartridges 🤣

    Hi I have a20”unit where is the best place to get the best for koi cartridges? Thanks

      The easiest and cheapest place I got mine from was VYAIR themselves. sales@vyair.com

    When doing water changes can you just use the garden hose,i have no room for the bracket and tubes?

      Thanks for watching. Some people have it as a temporary set up and just get it out and connect the hose pipe to the filter and let it trickle in. So as long as the incoming mains tap water goes through the VYAIR (or similar) at a slow flow rate then YES it will work just as good.

    Have you looked into RO? Just wondered if it's worth it 🤷

      I bought a unit but never got round to fitting it. I struggled with the process, benefits and the costs as I would have been wasting 4 pints of water to claim 1 pint of filtered water.

    what's the best wat to treat if you haven't got a set up like that and just topping up from a hose

      Hi Manda. You do not need to have a set up like mine but just do something to dechlorinate. You can use a simple bottled Dechlorinator or something like Sodium Thiosulphate off Amazon or E Bay. It also depends on the quantity you are adding.

    Can you connect from any side for flow and return mate

    • @AKoiEnthusiast
      @AKoiEnthusiast  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      In quick no you cannot just connect to either side BUT you can move the canisters. The Filters should be in the specific order which on my set up enters from the right hand side. If you swap the 1st and 3rd Canister over you can enter from the left.

    Nice update I have the smaller vyair and it was letting chlorine through

      Thanks for watching Carol, I tried the smaller one and thought I needed a bigger one. It wasn't until I spoke with VYAIR Technical and after they looked at the quality of the Mains Water they recommended a different type of Cartridge. Andy Finch is equally as good but possibly cheaper. Apparently size isn't important lol

    Thanks for the vid mate, how often do you change your cartridge? I have to change every two month, a pain in the arse and the wallet!! 👍

      Thanks for commenting Col. It's a difficult one to predict as the speed of flow is important and also the amount of water changes. The obvious answer is to speak with the suppliers of the Cartridges and off the top of my head I cannot remember what volume of water they recommended changing them. I will have to look for my notes
