The differences from the 2021 model seem to be the missing exhaust pipes and also the missing drive modes wheel in the center console, moved to the entertainment console (as seen in your video). Did you spot any other differences?
@@kevinjones5560 Hello. I just purchased a 22 XC90 T6 Inscription but don’t have access to a “Dynamic” mode? I don’t understand why? The model I purchased has the “Polestar” enhancement option on it, could this be why? I’m just looking for a “sportier” driving experience. Thanks!
Any new information on the Recharge (T8) model for 2022? Apparently there has been some decontenting such as the compass in the mirror is gone. Not sure if that came with the Momentum in the past. Have you heard anything about an upgraded hybrid battery for the T8 Recharge that should be available beginning with a production date in November?
Should add that while the Headlight washers were standard in 2021 they are now only available with the Climate Package as was included on your tested model. Before the climate package had heated windshield wipers but there is no mention of that feature on the 2022 Climate Package. Is it now standard or was it another victim of decontenting for 2022?
Be glad the XC90 didn't. Initial reports trash the new Android OS (no satellite radio, drive mode selector buried in menus, driver gauge cluster has even less customization than Sensus, etc..)
Somehow Volvo has not updated the XC90 with Android infotainment. My guess is that they won't be updating it. New xc90 (or XC100) will be released 2020.

This is the first video I’ve found of an actual 2022! Thanks for putting this together!
The 22 Volvos are just starting to hit dealers now, I took the first opportunity I could get at doing a film on one. Hope you found it useful!
Only difference is by the start button and 22s have no exhaust tips….shouda left the exhaust pipes

That’s it.

THIS VIDEOM WAS VERY HELPFUL
Great safe suv! No fatalities ever in this car!
Are these made in Sweden or South Carolina?
Final assembly point is in Gothenberg, Sweden for the XC90.
What exactly does “final assembly point” entail?
Final assembly point basically means where all of the parts are put together to assemble the finished product.
Thanks! Where are the parts made?
2022 is supposed to be with Luminar LADR, so one you have in the video of the 2021 model?
It is true 2022

Is that not an inscription? The chrome grille does not come with the momentum trim
For 2022 it does! The Inscription trim adds even more brightwork to the grille.
@@tydrives4846 sick!
Even the 2021 has that grille.
Nice review. Is the radar unit behind the rear view mirror using just radar, or radar and lidar?
Do you think it’s batter to change my lexus gx 460 to this car?
Can’t believe they still offer a non-hybrid powder for the 2022 model. It should be either a mild hybrid or a plug-in hybrid.
XC40 is also purely gasoline powered for 2022 (not a mild hybrid), accept if you get the Recharge. I’ll have a video on a T5 R-Design shortly!
Is the glass crystal shifter extra option
Every XC90 reviewer misses the storage cubby spiders (at the 08:23 videomark).
True😂
Very interesting that this XC 90 2022 model did not move to Android Automotive. I thought entire 2022 line up is moving.

I thought the 2022 XC90s were supposed to move over to the Android Automotive OS...looks like they didn't do it for this model.
No, not yet. Its the same screen as last year, not a bad thing though it’s pretty user friendly.

They should change shape now. Too many years with the same shape.

@@kevinjones5560 That doesn't change the fact that Volvo is owned by Chinese. I don't get it what's wrong being made in China?
