Delightful composition, Helen and beautiful angels. Your gingerbread house I can imagine holding sweets. Phil did so well following a single subtle hint.😘 Take the time you need to feel restored...you treated us day after day during Advent, and have left us with another set of lovely memories of the season...I still remember the delightful selection of Christmas carols from 2023.❄❤
Happy New Year Helen this was a lovely chatty vlog and the music along with the snowy scenes was beautiful, it's good that you are so honest about the advent projects I would probably have given up on the house one ! Looking forward to seeing the blanket from the kit your hubby bought you he obviously knows you very well ! 😊
Thank you Judith! I was so relieved to get to the end of that crocheted gingerbread house - I think if I'd set it aside, I might never have got back to it! 😂 I'm looking forward to making a start on the blanket. xx
Happy New Year, Helen🎉It was great to see you this morning. I agree about snow - it's a drawback on the roads but I can't help hoping for it because of the light it brings and the delightful squeaky crunch of walking in it❄️ I loved your snow song❤Perhaps you will publish it? I would definitely buy it even though I'm still working on your Orkney Farewell😂. I'm a slow learner and only truly relax into music when I know it off by heart, which can take a while, but it'll be worth it❤
Thank you Shirley! There are definitely lots of good things about snow, aren't there? The extra light that it brings is definitely a big plus. I'm so glad you enjoy my new snowy piano piece and I might well decided to publish it at some point. xx
Good morning Helen, thanks for a lovely video yet again . We have loads of snow here in Yorkshire today as you now doubt have in Durham. Its causing tremendous problems for those who have to go out today Stay safe❤
Thank you Barbara! Yes, we had a big fall of snow yesterday - nice for me because I didn't have to go anywhere, but not so good for those needing to travel about. I hope that you are staying warm and safe. xx
Helen you are amazing that piece of music is beautiful WOW i just love everything and Phil did very well 😊 oh the carnal blanket looks fun ❤ Have a lovely week x
I love snow too, and I’ve been staring out the window in expectation, looking at the sky and trying to see if I could smell snow, because sometimes you can smell when snow is coming, but so far we have had no snow this winter in Scotland (at least where I am) only a little bit of sleet. The first heavy fall of snow is always magical…. and so was your song Helen. Beautiful. 🌨️❄️
Thank you so much, Margaret - I know just what you mean about the smell in the air when snow is on the way! And those feelings of anticipation, staring out of the window and hoping to see the first flakes of snow! xx
I love snow so much as well!! ❄️❄️❄️ It lifts my spirits too, and makes me excited!! 🤗🤗❄️ I wish I could have snow every day in the winter!!! Thank you for sharing, Helen! I enjoyed the song and video!! Take care.
Hello darling Helen ! Thank you for spending time with me today ❤I can not imagine it ever being that cold ! But how pretty is it 💕 I love snow too. We have had it here. Very light compared to yours. But so pretty. Goodness that makealong was a real challenge ! Well done to get it finished ! What a huge project ! So pretty ! You are a talented lady ! I loved the music. I was singing along to! What fun ! Take care sweet lady and lots of love from Beautiful Ballarat god bless ❤🇦🇺💕🥰😊
Hi Tammy! I agree, even a light dusting of snow makes everywhere look very pretty! I was so glad to get that rather tricky gingerbread house finished - I will look forward to having it on the table next Christmas. I'm glad you enjoyed my snowy piano song, too! xx
Happy new year to you and Phil, what a wonderfull exibition at Ushaw and so inspiring. Your music and scenery were enchanting and made me think of one of the poems you read where he wrote about the grubby streets, snow makes everything look beautifull ❄️❄️❄️
Although I loved your piano piece and sang the words to myself, what brought me to tears was the Exhibition of Angels…all of it, but especially the forest…the children who made the angels must have felt very proud to have been involved. Amazing ideas, and so good that it represented all ages and talents…thank you for showing it to us! x❤️x
Thank you! I'm so glad I was able to take you on a virtual tour of the angels exhibition at Ushaw - a really marvellous community effort and I'm sure the children, in particular, were proud to have their work on display! xxx
Such a beautiful song! It reminds me of my Winry, her little heart longs for the snow and we've just had more rain. Everyone in our family has that child in them that jumps at the sight of snow. I hope we never loose the magic. Your video's are always just perfect xx
I saw an inflatable Christmas camper van w Santa and a deer sticking their heads out of the windows. It was about 5’x3’x3’! Immediately I thought of you and Phil! It made me chuckle! Love the composition and the lovely words. I’ll be humming it this week.
This was such a treat to see you Helen and the beautiful composition of Snow Dreams was an absolute delight. Loved seeing your little house completed and the idea of putting food inside on the Christmas table is a lovely idea. I would have loved to visit the angel exhibition too! Thank you x
A beautiful piece of music, very easy to sing along (only my little dog heard me 😂). I loved the forest of angels, that would have been a fun walk to make. I also loved the idea of moment of joy…a simple but very meaningful gift for someone any time of year; even a gift to myself😍. Thank you again for all your hard work on your Vlogmas series. Some of us alone at this time of year appreciated it very much, connection is special. A special well done to Phil and his fun way of presenting his gift🎉. Hugs.
Thank you Trudy. What a nice idea it would be to give 'moments of joy' jars as gifts! I loved it, last time I did it, opening it up at the end of the year! And yes, one of the gifts of TH-cam is that we can make surprisingly meaningful connections! xx
Good morning Helen , it's lovely to see you after the holidays , I think the angels were wonderful , so many different ways to make them it was amazing . I'm with you Helen I love the snow , we had snow yesterday and I was like a child looking out of the window hoping for more snow to fall . I love the piano piece and I found it easy to sing along as you played . Slow down now Helen and reset for the year ahead , look forward to seeing the next trip away .😊
Thank you, Wendy. Snow definitely reaches my inner child! I'm glad to know that you are the same! And yes, I need this slower time to build up energy for the coming year. xx
Helen your music, photography and song were perfect together. Thank you so much for all you did during Vlogmas, you added to the season for so many of us. Phil gave you a perfect gift, both the yarn and the attention he paid so he could give you something that would make you happy
Helen, the music you wrote and played was well, I have no words that can express how beautiful the composition is. The music and the words " floated down to me "and I am grateful.
Hello dear Helen- so lovely to see you again 😊 I’m so very pleased to hear that you’ve taken time to rest and replenish your energy! And , for you in the Northern Hemisphere now is the natural time to do so. Many years ago, I was having a chat to a chap who worked for my children’s piano teacher and he pointed out that, until the invention of electric light, people were severely limited by the lack of natural light during Winter. Whereas now, we just keep going at the same pace all year round. I thought that made a lot of sense- so you’re just working with nature by having a restful time Helen. The angel exhibition was simply superb- a real display of an inclusive community and so very special 😊 I really loved the trees with the children’s angels hanging amongst the branches 😊many thanks for your presence in our lives xx
Hi Elizabeth and thank you. I agree with you that in our far distant past, we would have been forced to take things more slowly during the darker time of year - I am trying to remember that it's okay to feel as though I want to hibernate - it's just part of the natural rhythm! xx
Happy New Year, Helen. It's so lovely to see you as always. Hope crocheting on the Lucy blanket will brighten your January days. I find it such a difficult month to navigate. Your joy jar is a really good idea. I've been chatting to our granddaughter today about gratitude. Today would go into my joy jar. Having the children for a sleepover and a day of crafting with them. Beautiful piano at the end. Another joyful moment, seeing the snow yesterday. Have a lovely week, take care. Xx
Thank you Angela - hoping this year will be a good one for you, too! It will be lovely to have this new colourful blanket to work on through this otherwise dreary month. Your day does indeed sound like a very joyful one! And snow (and even a bit of piano music) can be such a joyful thing, too! See you soon xx
Hello Helen, happy new year. I must say, what an incredibly beautiful start to the new year. I put a little card to one side with a moment of joy written on it. It was your video, I never want to forget about it, 8t filled me with lovely feelings of peace. Thankyou so much. Looking forward to next week 💕💕💕
Good morning Helen, how lovely to see you. Wow, you got a good one there in Phil. I can make hints to my dearly beloved and it passes him bye all the time🤨 his excuse is he wouldn’t know where to start. All those Angels, amazing, such clever ideas. I like the sound of the canal blanket, we often walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal and love looking at the boats. Look forward to seeing how it turns out. As for your beautiful piece of music. Wow, I love it so much, you are indeed one talented lady. Happy new year.xxx
Thank you Sue! Phil definitely earned himself some Brownie points! Canalside walks are always very enjoyable, especially seeing some beautifully painted narrowboats. I'm glad you enjoyed the snowy piano piece! xx
A lovely composition Helen and stunning accompanying photography. Congratulations on all your Advent projects and best of everything for the coming year.
Oh Helen what a beautiful composition. Thank you for sharing it. I've been watching your videos for some time now and thoroughly enjoy them. Wishing you a very Happy New Year xxx
Thank you so much, Parmjit - I'm so glad you enjoyed the snowy piano piece and that you have been enjoying spending some of your time with me! Happy New Year wishes to you! xxx
Good morning Helen, so lovely to see you again , what a wonderful chat …. Beautiful music I tried to sing along , I had a my little kitten on my lap at the time and I think I scared him 😂
Beautiful composition Helen. I’m a little late to the party this week! Loved the Angels and seeing your Advent makes. The Joy jar is a great idea, particularly for these difficult January days. Thank you for making today special. ❤
Oh Helen - your composition was simply lovely. I live in the warmth of Florida in the US now but remember the wonder of snow in my childhood. Thank you for sharing your holidays with us and best wishes for the new year.
Beautiful snow scenery, oh my gorgeous angel displays, forest of Angels were my favorite to see, very nice gingerbread house even if it wasn't your favorite turned out s2eet, logs your squirrels hugs I love to see you for vlogmas next December
Happy New Year 🎉Lovely to catch up and see your finished Gingerbread House. Your Snow song is beautiful ❄️Maybe your dreams came true in the past few days 😊💕
Thank you for this beautiful video. Your composition is absolutely lovely. The angel exhibition was so nice. I absolutely love the snow scenes. I love snow too! We currently have an abundance of it! Phil gets the prize for the most thoughtful husband. I will enjoy watching your canal boat blanket as it grows. Happy New Year to you both.
Thank you Shari! I'm so glad you enjoyed your time with me today. How wonderful to have an abundance of snow (though maybe, in reality, it can be somewhat inconvenient...) I was very impressed with Phil picking up on my hint!! Happiest of new years to you, too xx
Welcome to you in 2025. Kept looking for you today and I was delighted when you were there! Your song and the snow scene totally charmed me. I played it twice. It was much needed and it calmed me for bed. It's almost 9:20 PM here in New Hampshire USA. Have a lovely week.
I should imagine you got your wish for snow again today to accompany your lovely musical piece❄. We had it yesterday down here in the south followed by relentless rain which has caused many people travel issues getting to work this morning but happily we now have sunshine 🌞. The gingerbread house looks great now it's finished but does sound like it was a bit of a trial for the run up to Christmas, i agree it would have been better to start with a few smaller tempting items. Loved all the talent on display at the Angel exhibition ànd the forest at the end looked magical in that setting. See you next week xx
Thank you, Lin - my dream of snow did indeed come true yesterday so I excitedly dashed straight out to enjoy it! However, the mixture of rain, sleet and snow has caused much of it to disappear today. The gingerbread house was definitely a bit of a trial. xx
What a treat this morning, such a lovely chat with you. The music is lovely and your snow videos much more romantic than the damp quarter of an inch on the ground here this morning. The gingerbread house is cute, I am impressed that you didn’t just put it into a project bag for another year! Off to search for a suitable glass jar, really love that idea 🎉❤. Happy New Year!
Thank you Joy! I'm glad you enjoyed the piano music with the snowy scenes - those were from last November but we had a similar fall of snow yesterday, which was lovely (as I didn't have to go anywhere! 😂) I was very glad to get that house finished! And the jar idea is such a lovely one that I came across two or three years ago. xx
Happy new year to you and thank you for a lovely vidio the angels were so lovely your piece of music wow truly beautiful I've listened a few times love love it thank you❤
Helen, your song at the end was beautiful! I could see how Enya influenced the music. 🤗😍🙂 It warranted a second listen. I love snow too. I collected christmas angels for many years. There is no end to people's creativity in how to conceptualize their appearance. I really liked the forest with all the children's angels set among the twinkle lights in the branches. The ginger bread house turned out nice. I'm with you on your comments about it. Too much for a busy time. I find I don't always have patience enough for a mystery project. My joy this morning is two fold. One, I watched your video. And two, I was treated to a lovely sunrise. Thanks for sharing and see you next week.🤗
Thank you Karen - I'm very glad that you enjoyed the snowy music! How lovely that you collected angels - I did love the forest of angels in the exhibition. The gingerbread house project definitely made me feel less patient than usual... And thank you for sharing today's joys! xx
Yay, Phil, great job taking those subtle hints. Helen, I am also doing Lucy’s CAL. The house came out lovely even with the challenges. Loved the Angel exhibit. Thank you for sharing.
Happy New Year Helen. You deserve a medal for your patience with your advent house I’m sure I would have given up on the mammoth task. Congratulations 🎉
And Happy New Year wishes to you, too - and thank you! Making that gingerbread house was rather a trial and the things that kept me going was knowing that I wanted to show it to everyone here on TH-cam! xx
Your piano piece is so beautiful. I love the peaceful feeling I got listening to it along with the snow video. I’m looking forward to seeing the canal KAL project.
Hello Helen, just to say a big thank you for all those beautiful videos you did in December, such a lot of time spent, but worth every minute. How thoughtful was Phil giving you a wonderful bagful of yarn that you really wanted, to make the canal boat blanket. The music was brilliant, well done. Sorry this is late, not enough hours in the day!
Thank you Linda - and no problem being late! I know what it's like not having enough hours in the day... I'm so glad that you enjoyed my December videos as well as this week's podcast! xx
Hi Helen..loved your snow music..we have lots of snow here at the moment in Co Clare..love it too....I agree with you about cheap felt..awful stuff..only ever buy wool felt.. ☘️♥️
Enjoyed the angels and music. Thank you for mentioning the barge blanket, I love the barge paintings so ordered the kit for the blanket and look forward to following along with you in the making of it. I am not a very experienced crocheter, so I look forward to joining in with making something I've never done before.
@@annsivitter6130 Thank you Ann! It’s great that you are going to join in with the blanket makealong! I have always found Lucy’s photos and explanations very clear, even when I was a beginner at crochet. x
Happy New Year Helen 🎉 I'm with you on the Ricorumi advent. It looks great, but I wouldn't have been happy doing all the lengthy bits without a warning 🤣😘
Thank you, Dawn - happiest of new years to you, too! I really had to force myself to keep going with the lengthy, samey parts of that house and didn't like not knowing how long it was going on for! xx
What a lovely video, Helen, just what I needed after the day I have had! I’m not a crocheter, though I wish I wad, but your socks were right up my street. Happy New Year to you and Phil 🤗😘
Thank-you Helen enjoyed the angels loved your Christmas music all the very best for 2025 to you all the snow has just disappeared in poulton le fylde it was magical when I opened my curtains are nearby park had 8 snow men and a igloo the local kids had made xx
Thank you Shirley and all the very best to you, too. Most, but not quite all, of our snow has already gone - but it is so magical when we first see it! Sounds like the local children were making the most of the snow while it lasted! xx
Hi Helen. Great to see you. That Attic 24 blanket looks tempting. Must look it up. Or maybe I shouldn't... I love your piano music in your snow song. Thank you and happy new year to you and Phil. x
Happy new year. I was surprised when you said if you don’t get time to finish your birthday campervan video, you’ll post another video of you chatting next time. You are such a talented lady and your video today showed all your crafting skills as well as beautiful piece of music that you composed and played. It definitely wasn’t just a video of you chatting. Thanks for sharing another interesting video and I’m looking forward to seeing your canal boat blanket. We have a campervan now but used to have a narrowboat on the Grand Union canal and loved it.
Thank you Sylvia! You are quite right 😂 - even my normal chats are quite time consuming to make! How wonderful that you once had a narrowboat on the Grand Union canal - and now enjoy travelling in your campervan. xx
happy new year! oh i love the moment of joy jar, such a lovely idea x aw well if you take part in vlogmas again (and i hope you do as i enjoyed it immensely) i will be watching xx the angel wings exhibit was beautiful x beautiful song and video at the end xx
@@Helen_kittycat_crafts Thank you Helen! The moments of joy jar is SUCH a lovely thing to open up at the end of the year! I’m very glad you enjoyed the angels exhibition and the snowy song! xx
Happy New Year Helen. I think the gingerbread house turned out very well but mystery makealongs are always going to be a but of a risk. Your finished socks are a wonderful colour and what a nice idea to make your daughter a pair of socks for her birthday every year. I was very tempted by the canal boat blanket, but I daren't start another KAL. I enjoyed your snowy walk with your music and words. I thought the words went very well with the music and of course, I had to have a go at singing along. X
And happiest of new years to you, too! You're quite right - mystery CAL/KALs are always going to be slightly risky! It is very sensible not to join in with too many makealongs - I just couldn't resist that Canal Boat blanket! (But I won't join in with any other makealongs until that is finished...) I'm glad you enjoyed the snowy piano piece and even had a go at singing along! Thank you Anita 🎶😉😊x
Hi Helen, I have to start with your music and song/poem. Wow. Beautiful and 🤩. Matches so well with the video. I could see the song being difficult for someone who doesn’t consider themselves a singer as it quite a slow tempo. Nevertheless the words are lovely. I’m pleased you’ve got a new blanket to work on, good of Phil to pick up on that one clue 👍. The angel demonstration was very well done and displayed very well too. Re the advents, you had fun with most of them and I guess that was the point, and you’ll know for next year which ones to repeat and which ones to nix. Re vlogmas itself, perhaps think of doing a weekly vlogmas if it seems less onerous? It was beautifully done but soooooo much work! Now onwards into 2025. Loved your chatty vlog today. 🤗🥰
Thank you Isabel! I'm very glad you enjoyed my new snowy piano piece! And Phil very impressively picked up on my one hint for blanket yarn... 😂 I will have a good think about how best to approach another Vlogmas - my ideas are always grander than the time available to me I think! xx
Happy New Year Heken, and happy Nollaig na mBan or Women's Christmas today. Lovely to get back to normality with your Monday morning posts, you never disappoint with your creativeness.
What a lovely piece of music Helen. You are so talented. Now, you have inspired me already ..... I have been to my yarn cupboards and found all the colours for the Canal Boat blanket ready to begin on Friday! I wonder how many of us in your community will be making it together with you? (I have also started two year-long (weekly) embroidery/slow stitching projects and intend to try more water colour painting this year, if I can fit it all in!) Lol Well, you always say to keep busy! Lol Thank you for your lovely videos.
Thank you, Rachel. Oh, great that you have found the yarn ready for the Canal Boat blanket - I think there will be quite a few of us all blanket-making together! And it sounds as though you plenty more plans to keep you busy! xx
Hello Helen, Ilove your socks. I always have a problem joining the cast on row for some reason. Sometimes it can take several attempts. I always seem to get a hole at the beginning of the second row. I use four pins. Couldn’t get on with circular ones. The canal boat project looks very interesting. It will be so colourful and ideal for home or camper. I was disappointed in the gingerbread house design (not your workmanship). I’ve still got this respiratory virus that started in October. Getting weary of it. Tku for another interesting video.😊
Thank you Mary. What a nuisance that you can't shake off your virus - I can see why you are rather fed up with it now! I think it's Winwick Mum who suggested an idea to make joining socks in the round a bit easier, and that is to knit one or even two rows flat to begin with - I've tried that and it definitely makes it easier to join (I use 4 dpns, too) and the little gap that remains in the cuff can easily be sewn up afterwards. I'm glad you agree that the gingerbread house design was rather disappointing - amongst other things, it really shouldn't have needed a cardboard inner to reinforce the structure! Take care and I hope you begin to see a little improvement in your health. xx
Hi helen although that tune sounds familiar ive never heard it before somthing strange though is i often hum made up tunes in my head when driving and im questioning is this why it sounds familar the words fit it so perfectly it certainly is a magical mystery is everyone some how connected 🙂❤xxx
Thank you Nikki - and I somehow feel that you are right about how some of us are connected in an unexplained way! I love knowing that you sometimes hum made-up tunes to yourself! xxxx 🤗💕🎶
Happy New Year and thank you for this lovely episode. I loved your piano composition, Helen. And I would love to have a copy of your music. Will that ever be possible? I’m a long way from being able to play it yet, but I would enjoy working towards it! I loved the Angels, too. Xx
Thank you so much, Pam - I'm glad you enjoyed the snowy piano music. I may well decide to put the sheet music in my little shop - I'll let you know! xx
Helen your music, the words and footage of the snow falling were all beautiful. I sang along, sadly I wasn’t gifted like my mother, but I really enjoyed doing so. I am also doing the CAL with Lucy. I think this will be my 5th blanket. I normally buy two bundles and crochet a Queen size but this year I have only bought one pack as it will be a 13th birthday present for my eldest Granddaughter. This blanket will bring back lots of memories as my SIL and I travelled (I’m an Aussie) to Skipton in 2018 for Yarndale. We met Lucy and my other favourite crafter Christine (Winwick Mum). We stayed in Skipton a number of days and really enjoyed walking along the canal. Are you joing in with Christine’s sock KAL starting on Thursday? Are you on Instagram so I can follow your progress with the Canalboat Blanket CAL? Wishing you and your hubbie a blessed 2025. ❤️❤️🌺
Thank you Lenore! I'm very happy to know that you're joining in with the latest attic24 CAL! And it's wonderful to know that you once went to Yarndale (I was there that year too!) and met Lucy and Christine. I will go and take a look at the sock KAL! I think you may have already found me on Instagram... I'm @mousiemakespod 💕🤗
@ I realised I was already following you when I went to check. Crikey’s my memory needs some housekeeping. We probably bumped into each other at Yarndale not knowing we would meet again online. We had a ball there and ended up buying a second suitcase to get everything we bought home. We are off at the end of the month travelling around Tasmania for three weeks with our Toyota and slide on camper. Lucy’s bag of yarn will have to come with me. 😁😁😁😁❤️❤️🌺

Thank you so much! And you're right, the gift of yarn from Phil was extra-special because it was also the gift of his attention! xx
BEAUTIFUL COMPOSITION! Love and lots of greetings, Marlies
Thank you so much Marlies - I'm very glad you enjoyed it! xx
Wishing you Helen a blissful New Year. Loved your beautiful musical composition. Thank you 🏴
Thank you Christine! I'm so glad you enjoyed my snowy piano piece. x
Helen, the music you wrote and played was well, I have no words that can express how beautiful the composition is. The music and the words " floated down to me "and I am grateful.
Thank you so much, Sandra - it makes me happy to know how much you enjoyed it! x
Happy new year, Helen. I loved your snow music and lyrics. I enjoyed it very much. As much as you love snow I love the sound of rain
Thank you, Julie! Ah yes, the sound of rain can be very satisfying indeed! x
The music and video at the end almost brought me to tears. I miss winter from my childhood so much. You brought back many memories. ❤❤❤
Aww, thank you so much! I'm glad to have brought back lots of memories! x
Oh Helen!! The music and words were delightful!!
You're so talented.
I sang the words to myself.
❤❤❤❤
Thank you, Norma - I'm so glad you enjoyed my new piece of music! xx
Helen, I am literaly speechless!!! I love this vlog so much!!! ❤❤❤
Aww thank you so much, Francis! 💕😊
I love when the snow has that texture. Beautiful music
Thank you Karla! The snow is indeed very beautiful when the texture is just right! x
Oh, thank you Susan for such a lovely response to today's podcast! See you next week! xx

@@lostinsomerset6002 Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! x
How sweet of Phil😊! Beautiful music
Phil definitely earned himself some Brownie points! 😂 Thank you Teresa. x
I'm glad you enjoyed the snowy piano piece! xx
Lovely composition, Helen’s! Thank you. I would have given up on the gingerbread house, I’m afraid. Well done for persevering! ❤️🇨🇦
Thank you so much! I was glad to have persevered with the gingerbread house but I will not be looking to repeat the experience! 😂💕
A lovely composition Helen and stunning accompanying photography. Congratulations on all your Advent projects and best of everything for the coming year.

Another stellar video, Helen. And the song you wrote is beautiful. I could hear the words in my head being sung. Thank you! ❤
Thank you Vicky! And I'm very glad that you could hear the words of the song in your head. xx
What a beautiful song! Loved it! I too love snow but I’m still wishing this year so far in Tennessee. Happy New Year, Helen!
Thank you Shelly - I'm so glad you enjoyed the snowy piano piece! Happy New Year! x
Good morning Helen, so lovely to see you again , what a wonderful chat …. Beautiful music I tried to sing along , I had a my little kitten on my lap at the time and I think I scared him 😂
@@SharonB4448 😂scaring the kitten😂 How sweet to have one on your lap🐱😍

The piece was very touching. Tears did well up!! Beautiful.

Thank you so much, Jonna! 💕🎶
Hi Helen. Wow! Your snowy music and words are beautiful. Well done you. Enjoy your canal blanket 😊
Thank you so much, Sarah! I am really looking forward to working with the bright colours of the canal boat blanket. 💕
Beautiful composition Helen. Truly gorgeous. I love the positive memories 2025 jar. Great idea! 🥰
Thank you so much! I loved the jar idea when I did it once before - so lovely to open it up at the end of the year! x
Beautiful composition Helen. I’m a little late to the party this week! Loved the Angels and seeing your Advent makes. The Joy jar is a great idea, particularly for these difficult January days. Thank you for making today special. ❤
Thank you Margaret - I'm very glad you enjoyed popping by today, and no problem being a little late! x
Oh Helen - your composition was simply lovely. I live in the warmth of Florida in the US now but remember the wonder of snow in my childhood. Thank you for sharing your holidays with us and best wishes for the new year.
Thank you so much, Marcia - how lovely that you have happy childhood memories of snow! xx
Your piano composition is so beautiful,it made me cry ❤

The gingerbread house is cute and, I am sure, a labor of love. Such a sweet hubby paying attention 🥰 Happy New Year!!
Thank you - definitely a labour of love! 😂😂 And I gave full marks to Phil for noticing my hint! Happiest of new years to you xx
Happy New Year 🎉Lovely to catch up and see your finished Gingerbread House. Your Snow song is beautiful ❄️Maybe your dreams came true in the past few days 😊💕
Thank you Andrea! My snowy dreams did indeed come true yesterday - so I excitedly dashed straight outside to enjoy it! 😂x
Thank you! I'm glad to be back! And I am so glad you enjoyed my new piece of snowy music. xx
PS do I call you Mary Anne or just Mary?
So lovely, thank you Helen.
Thank you Deborah! x
The gingerbread house was definitely a bit of a trial. xx
Hello Helen lovely to see you and your new projects xx
Thank you - I'm glad you enjoyed popping by again! x
And the jar idea is such a lovely one that I came across two or three years ago. xx
What a beautiful song!!! Definitely your music! I loved it. !!! I love Enya too. And well dine Phil!Such a fun surprise to get your blanket kit.
Thank you so much, Margaret! And Phil definitely impressed me with the gift of blanket yarn! xx
Happy new year to you and thank you for a lovely vidio the angels were so lovely your piece of music wow truly beautiful I've listened a few times love love it thank you❤
Thank you so much Wendy - I'm so glad you enjoyed the snowy piano piece! x
Happy new year 😊… I love the Canal Boat Blanket ❤.. and well done Phil 👏👏… lovely video Helen
Thank you, Miriam - and all the best to you, too! xx
Thank you Debbie! Phil did indeed do very well! Great to know that you are doing latest Lucy's CAL. See you next time! xx

Happy New Year Helen. You deserve a medal for your patience with your advent house I’m sure I would have given up on the mammoth task. Congratulations 🎉
And Happy New Year wishes to you, too - and thank you! Making that gingerbread house was rather a trial and the things that kept me going was knowing that I wanted to show it to everyone here on TH-cam! xx
Hello Helen, Thank you so much for this lovely video. Very relaxing and I love your crochet House ❤️ Happy New Year 2025! Big hug, Marjam

Thank you Denise - I'm very happy to know that you enjoyed my new snowy piano piece! Just getting ready to begin the canal boat blanket... xx
@@megangilchrist4203 Thank you Megan. Good to know that you are a lover of snow… and proper wool felt!! 😂❤️
I really had to force myself to keep going with the lengthy, samey parts of that house and didn't like not knowing how long it was going on for! xx
Wonderful video Helen ❤
Thank you Maureen! x

Sounds like the local children were making the most of the snow while it lasted! xx
that was so nice i was singing the words. x
Thank you so much Elaine! x

How wonderful that you once had a narrowboat on the Grand Union canal - and now enjoy travelling in your campervan. xx

😂 I will have a good think about how best to approach another Vlogmas - my ideas are always grander than the time available to me I think! xx
I've just looked up the canal blanket. I love the colours. ❤
Lucy is such an expert in choosing the perfect colour combinations! I'm looking forward to getting started. 💕
Happy New Year Heken, and happy Nollaig na mBan or Women's Christmas today. Lovely to get back to normality with your Monday morning posts, you never disappoint with your creativeness.
Thank you Gillian - and I am intrigued by Women's Christmas! I shall investigate that! xx
Oh, I have just found out what it is - what a fine tradition!!! I think I need to incorporate that into my life! 😂💕
Take care and I hope you begin to see a little improvement in your health. xx
I am going to get a jar right now.xx🐝🐝
Excellent - it is such a lovely thing to do!
