Hi Dawn, always love to see the crafty bits... I started so many Christmas crochet projects... I don't think I finished one 😳 I love the almanac, I would love to use something like that - and I wouldn't have thought of making copies and being able to use those for next year. Such a good idea! I added a note to myself to start my daughter's advent ASAP - you should have seen my scramble this year. You're inspirational, thank you 🤩
Hi Dawn! I'm so glad you're feeling better!! My goodness! What a December, yeah?!?! I really like your Call the Midwife blanket! It's been great having a podcast from you! I hope you will be able to enjoy some crafting and stay well!! 💞💞💞 Hugs!!! xx
You have lots of lovely things to look forward to! I’m so glad you decided to join the Attic24 blanket CAL - stripes are definitely my favourite kind of blanket pattern! I adore the Yuletide blanket but did NOT enjoy making it. I’ll look forward to hearing more about the teddy bear fair too. Major things are happening in my craft room, too, to release my work table so that I can once again have a space for actually crafting on it… but it’s a bit of a long and arduous task… xx
Hello lovely Dawn ✨ Fabulous crafty episode, love all your makings and can’t wait to see all the things you plan to make, they’re definitely all beautifully bright colours! That box of mini skeins is absolutely gorgeous, truly scrumptious, what beauties! Have fun 🧶🧵🪡💕
You really have had such a crappy December Dawn, things can only get better!!!!! Please tell me they will. 😂😂😂 Lucy’s blanket from attic 24 is lovely, I think it’s the colours that do it for me. Your Jeanette doll is perfect as I knew it would be and Timothy is coming along nicely. Well I’m off to get myself a little G&T as enjoy our drink so much last night. ❤️😍❤️
I love a stripey crochet blanket. It is my favorite Kind of crochet project. toys are fun and adorable, but, for me, crochet is something I do as busy work, and I want a simple repetitive stitch. No counting😉. That being said, I do keep an eye out for just the right toy to make as a charity donation, usually an animal with outfits. This year I went to really declutter my fabric stash. And we all know that as hard as you try to use them all up, the bin(s) is never emptied. So my goal is at least one scrappy quilt a month. We'll see. I have a non- scrappy on the craft table now that I need to get done first. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy seeing a variety of crafts. I hope your new year brings much joy.
I wish I could quilt, it's one of those things I've dabbled with now and again, but it's not something that's clicked with me. It's a pity because I absolutely LOVE quilts 🤣😁😘
Hi Dawn! I'm wishing you a much better New Year than the December just past 🙏💖 The wee piggie is SO cute & I'm excited to see it come together. Have a great time at the festival 🧸🧸🧸
Hi Dawn, glad that you are feeling better. I'm coming to the end of what ever I had. I've just signed up for the dishcloth kal so thank you for the suggestion. Hopefully I can use up my cotton stash. It's jolly cold here in Cambridgeshire think frost on the ground this morning.🥶
Hi Dawn. Sorry to hear of all your bad luck leading up to Christmas. Hope the new year is better for you!!! I'm determined to use as much of my stash as possible this year and I also have various kits I've bought and never done. I'm just finishing a pair of colourwork socks from the Summer Lee sock club and then concentrate on getting a slipover finished. xx
