There are millions of videos, millions of tutorials... BUT I finally found my master haha. It makes a lot of fun - so thanks for that! Bought my ukulele back in 2016, but never really got into it a lot. I just learned some chords, played by myself and now that I'm in quarantine I thought it would be nice to play the uke everyday. And your videos are perfect! You're a very good teacher. Thank god there are lots of videos... one each day
Hey JF, thanks so much for the kind words and glad to have you learning with me! Let me know how the rest of the series goes and if you’re looking for more learning tools visit www.allforuke.com/lessons where I have pdfs, practice tracks and quite a library of songs/lessons. Keep in touch - Kevin
I'm 76 and a uke playing friend recently turned me on to the instrument. I find these tutorials especially useful, and they really encourage me to keep on practising!
I really want to thank YOU. I don't even need to mention the clarity and detail of the narration and the organization of ur videos, they are already wonderful, but most of all, every time you say "don't forget to smile, you're playin the uke, enjoy" tiny lil butterfly of joy comes alive in me and I reaally enjoy what I am doin! Thank you for reminding this feeling each time cuz its easy to forget(especially in barre chords). U re the best! May ur smile never fade away (:

Out of all the ukulele tutorial videos on TH-cam, I like yours the best. Thank you for sharing such valuable knowledge of yours with so much patience and love. Love and Blessings from India 🙏
Thank you so much - what an incredible teacher you are. I've stopped flitting about and sticking with you. In one day learned so much I chose finger picking to make a change from strumming & singing alone during quarantine also to not be over confident. Finally you've given me my mojo back to continue learning and not be discouraged with what I cannot do (although my little finger WILL NOT stay down when picking ) early days though. So glad I found you.
Yes! Of all the tutorials out there I finally found the best! I conquered Day 1 and because of that I am not intimidated and practicing it makes it easier. This tutorial is so beginner's friendly, easy to understand and follow. Thank you so much!
I put the uke down for a year, and am back, and wanted to tell you again, how much I love the lessons, and the "smile, you are playing the ukulele" comments.
Discovered your videos this morning while looking for finger style instruction. Your tip on the pinky was just what was needed to anchor the right hand close to the strings.
I have had a Ukulele for more than 3 years but recently bought a better one in order to have something to keep myself busy during the corona lockdown. I now start and end every day with a little practice and I am already improving. Your videos are so much fun! Thanks a lot! Greetings from Germany 🎼
Kevin is the best. I’m about 2 weeks into my ukulele venture and have watched all the uke tutorials you could think of. But when it comes down to writing stuff to practice everyday in my note pad, it’s mainly his stuff I’m writing. Makes it easy to learn but also has some advanced stuff towards the end so I’m always pushing myself to get to where I can do the whole vid. Well done dude. Keep em coming.
Thanks Colin! For more learning resources such as practice tracks, song sheets, and exclusive content, drop by the AllForUke community site and have a look around. All the best - Kevin | allforuke.com
Thank you for your no-nonsense teaching method. Beginning so slowly helps to phase out old techniques that maybe arent so efficient to build upon. I also appreciate the Em to B7 switchback, since I need work on that movement.
You are awesome, Kevin, your teaching style is unbeatable. I've wanted to learn the Uke for a while, but watching your tutorials has given me determination! Thank you so very much; I look forward to each and all of your lessons. 💜
I've been looking for good finger picking resource and am so glad I found you. Thank you, you are a truly gifted teacher. I find the pinky finger aching a little from its job to stabilise the hand when finger picking....is this normal and part of the process? Thank you again.
Thanks for giving such clear simple instructions. Thanks also for being so verbally clear in your in ssd instructions I'm visually impaired and honestly cant see stuff that's flashed on a screen sometimes. I'm working with lessons 1 and 2 in this series for now. I enjoy my progress!
Quite a few good teachers on TH-cam but as a beginner I really appreciate your pace of instruction. Just the right amount to soak in per video. Good job
i refused to do anything else until i learned all the 5 days :D i finished it in a day but tbf i did know how to play and how to pluck i was just confused so thanks for this it really helped out
It would be great to see an over head or side shot so I can tell how to hold my right hand and how much tilt you have on you uke. Thanks. Cannot seem to get it right. Thanks.
Good day, I am from the Philippines. This is very helpful. Im done with my 1st day and 2nd day of fingerpicking lesson. I practice uke everyday. Thank you and more blessings ♥️♥️
I’am very eager to learn fingerpicking ( because I like it very much)in the right way, so I was looking at the seconds and counting them: great spectacle❗️here in Holland 🇳🇱 it started at 23 hours 😀
🙋🏻♂️ yay! If you’re interested in more learning tools, drop by my new site and check out my song sheet library. lesson PDFs, and practice tracks. I really think they’ll help you advance your skills faster! - Kevin | www.allforuke.com/Lessons
Kevin it would be great if you could give us a song with the finger picking. For me I practice more if I can relate the exercise to a song. Hope this makes sense. Loving the lessons. Thanks.
I just stumbled across your channel and wish I’d found you sooner! I’ve been playing for almost a decade but my skills pretty much plateaued after the first year of learning. Learning online can be tricky when you can’t quite see if your form is correct but your videos are really clear and easy to follow along. I’m hoping I’ll commit to following one video per day to be a better uke player. Thanks so much for sharing these with us 😁
I'm really happy I've found this channel; I was looking for some new fingerpicking pattern to learn 😄🙋🏻♀️ But I'm finding hard keeping my pinkie down on the top of the uke, don't know why 😅🤦♀️ That's a beautiful ukulele. I love aklot brand and I have their mahogany ukulele in 3 different sizes (the concert is the one I used for this lesson 😊). I think they're very good instruments for the price, with nice look and beautiful sound. I'm gonna take a peek on the bamboo one 😄 Thank you
Thanks a lot buddy!!! you make my day, as I said I have difficulty in folding my fingers I find your tutorials great!! I shall keep practicing my Ukulele. Your videos are awesome!!!
thanks a lot for this wonderful series, Kevin, your tutorial is easy to understand and even a beginner like me can play along, which is so encouraging !
Its first time ever that I actually cant wait so much for a next video on youtube. I learn uke by myself for like 6 months now, mostly focusing on full chords but with your help I'm able to pick up some picking too! Thank you!
thanks keven, I have really enjoyed learning these fingerpicking patterns. it is my first in fingerpicking , I feel as though I have mastered them well, but now I am having trouble applying them to a song I'm fairly new to uke and have only strummed . I was hoping you could end this series with examples of a few songs for each pattern. thanks Love it!
Hello😀thanks for the teaching teacher, I'm a ukulele beginner and this is new to me and I'm going to practice this bw I just got that Atlokeuke there but it's a cutaway style and it sounds beautiful so impressed loving it, can't stop learning 😀 have a wonderful day dear 😃
Kevin, Tysm for your lessons, they're great. After 5 days of practice I could do it. When I played for the first time one of two strings didn't ring out, but now two of them ring. And today I forgot about my pinkie, so I wrote in my copybook to not forget about in next time. So, tysm for your lessons, they're really helpful. Love from Russia
Another fun, informative, fingerpicking pattern to add to my Ukulelel playing style. Thank you so much Kevin! Really enjoying this fingerpicking series! 😁
Hello - do you have a good supply of Tim Tams to get you through the lockdown :) They go well with ukulele. If you’re looking for some more info and worksheets to accompany these lessons, check out my new site www.allforuke.com. Thanks for reaching out! - Kevin
Loved this claw pattern. Easy to learn. The combo for Em and B7 are a little hard for me -- but I'm sticking with it. I would really like to play the patterns with a song. I played "White Sandy Beach" with the pattern I learned from Day 1. AWESOME! Thank you so much. Looking forward to Day 3.

Yes! Before I even watched the entire video I looked up that gorgeous bamboo uke. Wow. Beautiful!
So impressed with this ukulele! Liked it so much I decided to take it on a trip with me. Have you ever played an Aklot?
AllForUke no I haven’t played an Aklot or a tenor size. I have a concert and would like to try tenor. Thanks for playing this one:)
What concert do you play?
AllForUke It’s a Kala. 🌸
Great patterns! I need to work on my E -> B7 transition, but it is such a pretty sound.
Such a cool chord change - keep at it and you’ll be glad you did
Awesome tutorial Kevin. I finally found the right one. Very friendly for a beginner like me.
Another fun, informative, fingerpicking pattern to add to my Ukulelel playing style. Thank you so much Kevin! Really enjoying this fingerpicking series! 😁
