I own a gx80 and i love using that camera (even if its high iso image quality isnt that good)and i think it have better ergonomics than gx9. They should do next editions fir both the gx80 and LX100. 25MP sensor, weather sealed, PDAF, real time lut and lumix lab app support. The lx100 can rival the fujifilm x100 series with that. If possible, they can also include an nd filter and leaf shutter like the x100. If not a leaf shutter, i been always thinking about a deactivatable IR cut filter in a compact camera. No need for expensive converting your camera permanently, just witha click of a button u can start shoot on infrared. And with the real time lut u may even add a correction lut over it right away. How cool that would be!
gx80 is indeed one of the most well-rounded Lumix cameras out there, I might get it next year for myself as a fun little camera and for these B&W profiles. I agree that a gx80m2 or an LX100m3 with at least 20mp would be just perfect.
@shelkiefilm yess!the B&W profiles on it is soo good. Especially the high contrast BnW filter in creative filters. I just use a function button to activate creative filter with this filter selected already and like that, with a double press u can quickly switch to BnW and its soo good.
Love the video, subbed! I've been evaluating a few advanced compacts on my channel including both LX100s and they are both my favorite and the most frustrating cameras. Dust on sensor is noticeable at F16, sluggish handling with zoom and focus.. Really needs a mk III that perfects the formula.
Nice, thanks mate! Yeah slow zoom is actually annoying, true. Leica has a D-Lux 8 now which is again the same camera but newer and faster, maybe that’s the best way to go. But again, a bit too expensive :)
1:44 thought I was tripping but there’s a video of Panasonic campaign with a photographer, that location is beautiful
