491 would be your best bet, followed by 190. Since the quota for 189 has shrunk considerably for this migration year 2024-25, let's not be too optimistic about a 189 invitation.
Mam I have submitted my EOIs in October in almost all the States. My occupation is Agricultural Scientist with 75 points for 491 and 65 for 190. Is there any chance new year brings anything substantial for us ? I am an offshore applicant.

Currently, applications lodged in teh last 12 months are being assessed, but given the DHA's intent to prioritise the regional migrant visas, the processing time can be reduced significantly in the near future.

Mam global processing time shows 29 month processing time after submitting the visa application… I had got nomination from nsw and applied for grant from last June 23 but still waiting for grant and now it’s showing 29 month

But Mam it's just a Discussion Paper when will they Implement it
A Discussion Paper published by the DHA is a clear indication of what the DHA intends to implement.
Do you mean upcoming financial year 491 qoutas will be 33000+33000+33000 = 990000 🙄🙄? Is it?

Yes, this occupation is in huge demand. The points can be competitive for a 189, but not much for 190. 491 should be very easy for you.

We have received s56 or commencement letters of rmost applications lodged until May 2023. You should be hearing from the DHA soon.
