Thank you! I've been watching your videos and it's helping a lot. I like how you break it down. The instructor for my course almost talks as if I know what it all is and I get confused. I've worked around scrum masters and set up their meeting's for capital one but never knew what they actually did. It's only been 5 days since I started the course maybe I'm putting too much pressure on myself trying to learn it fast because I've worked in the environment more on the front end developer side. Still confused but gradually getting it. Thanks for your effort to help!

Glad to know that this is helpful. I'm always concerned that I'm not explaining it in enough detail or don't give enough examples.
I think you should definitely let yourself learn it at your own pace. There are so many things that you understand after months or even years of working in the role, so it's ok to not have all the answers.
If you have some Scrum Masters in the organization, maybe you can shadow them. That would be a great way to learn about what a Scrum Master does during meetings and just day to day.

@@ScrumMastered the organization I'm with now doesn't have any and are still using waterfall approach. I'm getting CSM in about a week, how hard would it be to find a SM job considering I've never done it? All of the ones I see ask for experience.. how am I supposed to get the experience if none hire and train you. Any advice on getting a job would be helpful. And yes I've seen your other videos but I have questions.

amazing content! thanks for sharing.. I have a question, im a psycologhist who works on human resources field, do you think that those are valuable skills to start developing myself as a scrum master?
i think it would be great, because here in argentina psicologyst are able to work in the organization world as a coach or as interviewers, and i have experience in human resources, working with people, motivating teams, etc.... what do you think? txs :)

I will tell you a secret 🤫 I'm seriously considering continuing my education in the phychology field because I think it is very relevant.
Plus, as I often say - all organizational problems are people problems. So I'd say you have some very important skills for a Scrum Master to have. Now the next step is to acquire skills and knowledge about the inner workings of organizations.
