His comedic and family-friendly videos have been seen more than 500 MILLION times on various platforms. His recent KFC video campaign was the most popular branded video content in the world on Facebook for the summer of 2017.
With a global fanbase, an invitation to the White House, speaking engagements all over North America, a weekly panelist on CTV National News, starring in the Dreamworks TV show ‘Kid vs Parent’ with his youngest son, collaborations with celebs such as Gordon Ramsay and The Property Brothers, and meet-and-greets at PlaylistLive, Brittlestar is living the social media celebrity dream… not bad for a Dad from the suburbs.

That's how it might seem when viewed from the outside. But the truth is the media declared war on Donald Trump the moment he decided to run for President. The media in the United States is largely untrustworthy. They have a coordinated agenda, and they are shameless in promoting it. Truth be damned. Trump's actions have made the United States a much better place for its citizens. He's rewritten the bad trade deals, strengthened America's economy, and eliminated excessive over-regulation. And he has been fought and obstructed nearly every inch of the way by the Democrats and their political arm, the mainstream media.
In 2016, his opponent was an influence-peddling, corrupt Hillary Clinton who should have gone to jail for trafficking in national security secrets.
This time around, the opposition is a senile, corrupt Joe Biden who used his position to enrich himself and his son in both the Ukraine and China.
I don't think that's much of a choice. Trump has earned the respect and admiration of millions of Americans. He will be re-elected.

I love the self-deprecation elements in this video. I love Canada and it’s been very good to me.
I do get the feeling, watching and listening to Canadian media, that the States are a primary focus to take peoples minds off of what could be better in Canada and with Canada’s government.
Don’t get me wrong...every country has things that could be better on all levels. Nobodies perfect.
I just get the impression that the media’s message in how they cover the States is, “yeah, but it’s worse in the States so we’re ok in Canada”...instead of focusing energy on fixing what needs to be fixed here in Canada.
Just a personal observation and definitely not a judgement.
No offense, eh. I love you Canada!

    • @lymezombie6580
      @lymezombie6580 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

True, but it's the same thing in other countries, as well. Australia has news stories about its own issues/happenings, yet covers the States' stuff, too. I've seen similar patterns in England, France, and Germany. People from other countries have mentioned it to me, also. I believe (might be wrong) that it's because the States, for so long, was the epicentre (for lack of a better word, at the moment) for most of the world - movies/music/other entertainment (look at how many artists left Canada to go to California or New York), internationally, money is compared to the US dollar, and availability of 'crap' (US ads that show stuff "not avail in Canada", store coupons, etc.). Just a few examples, off the top of my head.
On the other hand, it seems that CA is picking up a lot of US habits, good and bad, at an ever increasing speed. Before cable and later, the internet, and more international travel, Canada was mostly, pure Canada. Not so much anymore. So, watching the US news items might be like looking into a crystal ball for the future of Canadians, if not careful. Hope not! 🇨🇦 Just my thoughts, not meant to hurt or insult anyone.

I lived basically on the U.S. side of the Canadian (Quebec) border during the 60's and 70's when mailboxes were being blown up, political leaders kidnapped and anyone the spoke English were either hated or ignored. So I can imagine what it is like to be on the other side of that border. If Frump head is successful in his quest for complete control with no stops or safeguards Canada could be that place blocking our access to Alaska (land wise). He might want to just have a solid path up to it. Canada is in as much danger as we are. And I agree with Anna Beer, for the first time in my 72 years on this planet, I no longer want to live here or even let anyone know that I live here. I can never feel the same about us again. Fortunately, I am close to the end naturally, so what ever happens will not affect me for very long, but, I hope the youth all wake up and understand the seriousness of this problem.

The upside to paying for our own bandaids is we don't have to wait several months to get them, nor does the government tell us if we don't like the guy who supplies our bandaids well too bad, he's the one they're paying for.
And, just to set the record straight, you did burn down our house. Of course we burnt yours first, but you still set fire to our house. And then everyone was like "Let's just reset everything to the way it was before, except no more conscripting our sailors or arming the natives."

A Canadian admits they can be a little judgmental, too? That’s a gross generalization, of course, but playing the accepting cousin has kinda become the country’s identity. Don’t get me wrong, I love (and really miss) my trips to Canada, but there have been many times I’ve been the only (anonymous) American in a group, and if America comes up, the conversations can be highly critical and mocking. Not that I mind usually, they’re not lying about anything, they’re just having honest conversations between friends about the neighbor who pours gasoline inside his house, throws a match, and wonders who called the firemen.

I'm American and super proud. When people from other countries bash the US, I honestly think they are ignorant. Short memories.

But can you blame us though? All your mainstream media bashes your own country, and president. The Democrats now say the USA is a patriarchal white supremacy, systemically racist and sexist (and probably hetero-centric and ciss-normative and transphobic). We read your papers, that's our window to your country. Most people I know think the New York Times is the absolure best reference as far as journalism goes to understand what's happening in the USA. Patriotism seems like a dirty word for you guys right now, your media tells us only white supremacists are proud of the USA.
