I know not all of you have a sewing machine so I wanted to create a NO SEW Tutorial that is easy and accessible for you ladies as well. Because creativity is thinking outside of the box and staying inspired!
I chose to make a DIY Circle Maxi skirt because my Turkish friend Zeliha mostly uses maxi skirts and the print was inspired by my hot air balloon flight in Cappadocia.

Hi Joycy I love this tutorial especially the printed pattern. It could so easily be made into a dress also for people who have no sewing machine. Just fabric glue a top like you are wearing to the top of the skirt. Hugs x

This is a truly simple skirt that even I can do, thank you. I have one question. What is the width of your material? Does that matter? I know you have 3 yards in length. It's the width I do not want to get wrong. Thank you for your time x
Love it Josie!! Again so inspiring ....good job! Wanted to ask, do you ever make any mistakes? Like you cut it too small, sew it the wrong way? Underestimate over estimate? Can you teach us something about bell shaped sleeves tops?
+MYBChrtrob off course I do! This skirt was a mistake 😄 I wanted to sew a 'belt' on top but then I realized i needed to cut it open. I tried to see if it fit and it did so I decided to let it be a no sew project. Like bob ross used to say 'there are no mistakes, only happy accidents' 😜 I have a video with bell sleeves. +Chocolate Hot thanks! Any suggestions for the top? 🤗 yes it will. Make sure you cut it more narrow as it's thinner. Jersey knit will stretch over time because it's thin. Try a cotton jersey as it's thicker and won't stretch as much 😗

Chocolate Hot I think jersey knot and jogging fabric are the same. I think the pink chocolate doesn't live in the U.S. and she's using a different description. bc I looked up jogging fabric online and all the fabric stores using that description were foreign.

+queenbelove it might stretch slightly but that's why it's better to work with thicker knits like cotton jersey or a light jogging like I did 💜

what did you use as the stencil for the painted pattern?
+qochemist it's a lace kind of fabric with dots. Any type of lace can be used as a stencil. It creates beautiful and unique looks 😗
You need to bottle and sell all your creative juices. Lol I'm not as creative, so I don't know what a good top would be. The peasant top someone mentioned below sounds good.
