This is a great video!. I work as a manger in the trucking industry. I'm pretty small and have had so much trouble finding work pants that are durable, business casual and flared at the bottom so they will go over my steel toe boots. I modified your idea in this video to make pants with a slimmer leg but still boot cut. I'm a novice with a sewing machine so it was essential that the pants were simple and easy to make. They turned out wonderful and now I make all my own work pants with whatever fabric I want. Great job! The instructions are clear and easy to follow
The instructions are so clear and simple. I was going to take the time after leaving work to go to a sewing class that is out of my way, plus pay over $50 per hour. I really believe I can learn basic sewing from your videos. Savings: money and time. Much thanks!

Also do you have a video for like a long beach tunic that is flowy?

I just googled how to make these, and your video came up. My goodness, you make it look sooo easy!!! My mom has been sewing for a living for 40+ years, and she's still in the mindset that you need to buy a pattern for everything. I'm going to show her this video!! Emma Peach Omg that's amazing! I rarely buy clothes now because sewing is so much cheaper! And if you're plus size you can create fab clothes for yourself. I often times find plus size less sexy than other clothes :(

I did run into an issue with the waist band, but finally figured it out. I loved doing this without the frenzy that the patterns causes me. Thank you!

+Iris G. Yeah but if you stretch the fabric the straight stitch basically becomes the zig-zag stitch and if someone has a piece of crap machine that breaks needles unless you use a simple stitch, this is a great trick.

Thanks! I learned this in sewing class. When you place them horizontally you can sew over them. Makes sewing so much easier!
