I love Pinterest as I find so many projects I want to DIY. Although I hoard most of them in my boards I decided to actually make these DIY Wrap Pants I spotted on there / 267612402828431980
The fabric I chose is from budgetstoffen.nl and it reminded me so much of Costa Rica because the nature there is rich and filled with beautiful plants & flowers.

These remind me of the garments early gauchos used to wear. Was it awkward to move in the second pair? Maybe additional laces on the side to help close them up a little... IDK, but I love this idea.

Do you have another website that you recommend for African print fabrics? The Paixaofortes.com site is down. THX!! I can't wait to try! I tried this once with the African Wax fabric, and because I have wider hips and bum, it did not fit quite right. I realize I may need to instead of making a U shape for the crotch, maybe more U-in the front and C in the back, so that the fabric doesn't pucker.

is there a way to prevent the side gap/slit in the woven version? it seems as though you will need to wear shorts underneath
qochemist i would use more fabric. 2.5-3 yards. I think the slit will show anyway when you move or sit at some point but not as high. Does that make sense?

is the first knit fabric wider than the woven fabric? Is that why the knit pair isn't wide open on the side of the leg like the woven pair?

Par contre si on veut réaliser le premier modèle en WAX (donc tissu non extensible) c'est toujours 2 mètre ou pas ? ^^ J'aime beaucoup ce genre de pantalon mais j'aimerais bien les réaliser en matière non stretch...Du coup ton tissu Viscose était composé de stretch si j'ai bien tout compris ? ^^

i saw something like this where they used lighweightflowingfabric but used it as a convertible once outfit. can you show that? I cannot find the FB video. i believe they were made full length which gave more flexibility insofaras styling options.
